OXO Good Grips Furlifter Pet Garment Brush Hair Remover for Clothing

I've purchased several different products to remove cat fur from my clothes. None worked without a lot of frustration. Bit the bullet and spent a little more money on this one. This one actually works! It's easy to use, gets rid of 99% of cat fur on clothes, and the cleaning box works, too!

This OXO Furlifter Pet Garment Brush is a simple little tool, but it really does the trick. We got it because my sister has a cat, and inevitably, when we visit her house, we come home with cat hair all over us. I wanted something easy to use to make sure we were brushing all that hair off before it got all over our furniture at home. The brush works really well for cat hair, just like I hoped. It picks up the hair effectively from clothes, and it's pretty easy to clean the brush itself. There aren't really any cons I've noticed – it's just a straightforward, effective garment brush. It feels durable, which is important with three kids who might accidentally drop it. Overall, this brush is definitely worth it for keeping pet hair off clothes. If you have pets yourself, or like us, spend time around pets and want to make sure you're not tracking their hair everywhere, this is a great little investment. It's safe, durable, and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I work as a dog coach, the only downside is all the different types of hair and fur sticking to my clothes and I refuse to just stick my clothes in the wash to get everything else hairy. Anyway I was looking for a conscientious earth friendly alternative to lint rollers which I love and going through reviews I found this. It does have its pros like it is more lightweight than the lint rollers when full of sticky papers, it’s easy to clean, it doesn’t leave a mess, and you don’t have to refill it like the lint papers. On the other hand it doesn’t pick up every hair as well as the lint roller which is unfortunate considering that’s its only purpose. I will still be using this as my main hair remover and use 1 sheet of the lint roller to pick up those stubborn hairs. The reviews on this product were much better than the reviews on other products, so I bought this. I like this product but definitely don’t love it.

I love that it’s quick, easy to use, and doesn’t require sticky refills like traditional lint rollers. It picks up so much hair with just a few swipes and keeps my home looking cleaner. If you have pets, especially cats or dogs, this is one of those simple tools you’ll wonder how you ever lived without.

Does it work? Yeah. Not the miracle that some reviewers claim. I have to swipe and swipe and swipe just to get the hairs off so it's work, meaning, it doesn't pick up the hair as quickly as (frankly) I think it should for the price tag. And that's another thing. $15 for this? Really? Kind of overkill, but what are you going to do? I wanted to give it a try. Will I return it? No. It does work and I don't want to bother having to buy something else. I just want to complain about the price. lol. I'd pay $7 for this happily. I bet it cost $2 to make. ;-) Cleaning the little holder isn't as easy as the video claims either. When I put the hair remover in it, I have to shove it in there and pull it out and repeat a few times before all the hair comes off, then if I pop the bottom to clean out the hairs, I have to pinch and pull all the little hairs out, because they don't come out easy. Why am I complaining about this? Because for $15 it should be wham bam you're done. :-D Anyway, I'm a bit disgruntled about the price tag. And that it's not a quick swipe and you're done, but a swipe and swipe and do it again and again and again and again...then you're done...Thus the 3 stars. I was hoping for something that really grabbed the hairs off the clothing and just yanked em off. This is rather meek. Recommended? Sort of. If you can find something cheaper, go for it. It's not a miracle, but it'll do the job if you do the work.

This wasn't the item I originally went looking for. I bought it base on the videos I saw other people posted. So I'm posting mine so maybe it help someone else who is looking and deciding. I used it on my kids clothes to get rid of the 2 indoor cats' hair we have (Black&White & Siamese). I used it exactly how the instructions say. Hold tension and sweep in small strokes. I used the harder bristle side. It took off 75% of the cats hair. The rest came off using animal hair removal dryer sheets in the dryer. Between these two things 100% cat hair was gone. Yes I had to use my fingers to pick out stubborn hair that was embedded in the fibers. Yes it was tedious. But not as bad as it could've been without this product and dryer sheets helping. My opinion: get this wand. It works but don't know yet how long it will last. I love these stray kitties. I love my girls. I hate the fur all over the clothes. This helps me balance my emotions and my OCD 🤷🏾‍♀️

Worth every PENNY. Sure, it’s not going to get every stray hair. But it’s fantastic. Picks up the majority of the hair and the base collects everything for easy emptying. It finds hair I didn’t even realize was there. I hate having to use those lint rollers that you constantly have to remove the top sheet and throw it away, I wanted something that wasn’t so wasteful. This is perfect.

Works great on dog's sweaters.

I was so sad when my 30 year-old pet hair remover brush broke, and I couldn't find another one that had the same design. So I bought this one, and am very pleased with it. I like how it's reversible without any moving parts (that would potentially break), and the container to store it in (which removes pet hair when you insert the FurLifter in and out of it) works great!! The brush comes out super clean every time! Sure, some hair stays trapped in the container after removing the lid and emptying it, but if you have fingers, you can easily remove it (or not! Who cares if the container has hair in it). I find it removes hair from my carpets and clothes better than my 30 year-old brush. My only real complaint is its flat design (the handle is as thick as the brush) which means that your fingers brush the carpet along with the brush when you use it on carpets (or any flat surface), which might end up irritating your knuckles a bit. Still is a great product, and feels very sturdy!
