I spent a little extra money on a simplehuman trash can (instead of buying a cheaper knockoff) because I enjoy having the same nice-looking, reliable trash can for a very long time. It's one of the few items in my home I use tens, maybe hundreds of times a week.Since it gets so much use, and since it's not a dumpster-sized trashcan, I find that I need to replace the trash bag about every other day. For a month or two, I tried using normal-sized Hefty trash bags, and they worked pretty well. But then I received a pack of these liners as a gift... and have only bought these for the simplehuman can since.These bags fit perfectly inside the trash can, and since they're narrower than conventional trash bags, they're easier to get in (and out), and they don't waste a cubic inch of space. They're the perfect size, and the grey cinch strap at the top ties up just as well as any Hefty or knock-off brand trash bag I've used.Every once in a while, a bag tears a little if I have something sharp in it (like a piece of wood, or a very rigid cardboard box) and I pull it out of the trash can, but I haven't had any tears that are bad enough things spill out.Overall, these liners are a great value to me, and I'm happy to pay slightly more per-bag to have a much improved experience changing the bag at least fifteen days every month.

I like the Simple Human system of garbage cans with bags that are sized perfectly to fit those cans. I have a big G size can in my kitchen and a small C size can in my bathroom. When buying bags, I can order G and C bags with complete confidence that they will fit right. This good fit means that replacing bags is easy and that the can lids always seal tightly, keeping odors out of my house. With Simple Human bags there is no wrestling to install a too-small bag and there is no wasted extra plastic like you get with a too-large bag. The Simple Human system is simple, practical, and economical.

While it'd be nice to be able to buy generic trash bags, the functionality of these in our SimpleHuman trash can is invaluable and Amazon has a great price. Love being able to fit these in the black trash can liner and not have the bag show on the exterior. SimpleHuman developed a good product.If you really crush/smoosh things into your trash, then you'll have a harder time getting the loaded trash bag out when it comes time to take everything to the curb. But I find cinching the bag and then grasping not just by the handles, but by as much of the top part of the bag as possible, keeps the bag intact and helps break the vacuum seal the stuffed bag seems to have against the black trash can liner wall. I kind of wiggle it all in my hand a little and the bag will start slowly sliding out of the liner. I don't find it tedious though and am fine with using that trick to keep the exterior of the can looking neat and trim without a trash bag sticking out.

I can't imagine using my Simple Human trash can without the appropriate liners. Actually, I've done it and I HATE it. The bags are perfectly shaped and sized. My husband was called up on active duty for my entire pregnancy and the first 6 months of baby's life, so using these trash bags ensured I could actually GET the trash to the curb, rather than using those gigantic ugly black bags that were bigger than me!The ONLY issue I have with this particular package is that there is no cardboard box which makes a huge difference in making certain that you only get 1 bag at a time. I hate pulling out one bag and having 2 others drop on the floor. You know, you can NEVER get those back in the package neatly.
