Worked perfectly
Worked exactly the way it’s supposed to only thing I had to do was change my connectors to a bigger size. And this thermostat is noisy as hell when it clicks. But other than that I can get used to it to save my precious mini fridge.

The description appears to say the probe is 26". It's more like 72". Sending it back

Direct Replacement Part for WPF28.5D-L-EX
Posting this positive review to hopefully help others. I have a 2 year old Magic Chef brand chest freezer, Model: HMCF7W4. The thermostat for this freezer was destroyed after a series of rapid power outages. I couldn't find an exact product # replacement for the thermostat in the freezer. The original thermostat was labeled WPF28.5D-L-EX. This part, WKF-27R, is a direct replacement despite the different product number. The temperature probe is also the same length as the original. My dial settings are also close to what they were before, which is nice. I've got the thermostat dial set at 5 and the temperature is holding at -10 degrees Fahrenheit in the chest freezer.
