Useful tool to place a heated iron
A useful tool and the heated iron can be kept safely in it . Have been using it and found absolutely troublesome free . Non skid too .

Iron box resting mat, but not reliable for very hot iron box
Though Silicon mat is meant for resting the hot iron box, I have observed the mat curling up due heat, which makes it not as effective as claimed.

Not as much thick
When I saw and booked thickness is as not aspect as price more we can buy for 125 but they can made more thick.

Love this iron.
I was about to click on “buy” on a $200 iron and thankfully I didn’t. This one was about $40 and does everything the expensive ones do. It’s 1800 watts, heats up quickly, the temperature is easy to set, and it shuts off automatically. It is quite heavy and it doesn’t raise automatically off the fabric like the fancy ones do, so I place it on a silicone pad when I’m finished with it. The ceramic surface is a bit different that I am used to. Not quite as slick but on the other hand, neither starch or fusible interfacing sticks to it. I haven’t had to clean it once and the surface still looks brand new. I use my iron a lot because sewing is my hobby. I wanted to wait to write a review because I was concerned that for what I paid for it, it might not last. I’ve had it for 8 months now and it isn’t leaking and it’s still working beautifully. I usually buy a new iron every few years because I use them so much, so this is a major savings for me. I like to take my time, do my research, and then buy the best quality I can afford, so hoping my review is helpful for someone else.
