How do I change the light colors on The Beacon?

It’s simple! One button cycles through all three colors (Red, Green, Blue) and three modes (Slow Flash, Fast Flash, Always On). This allows you to track multiple dogs by assigning a unique color to each one.

Is The Beacon light waterproof for dogs that love to swim?

Yes! It is IPX7 rated waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. It’s built for rainy hikes, muddy puddles, and unexpected plunges into the lake.

How do I charge the battery and how long does it take?

The Beacon is USB-rechargeable. Use the included micro-USB cable to plug it into any standard port. It reaches a full charge in approximately 1.5 hours, so it’s ready for your next sunset stroll or early morning run.

How long does the battery last on a single charge?

Battery life varies by mode: expect up to 12 hours on "Always On" and up to 20+ hours on "Slow Flash." An indicator light will glow green when charged and red when the battery is low, so you're never caught in the dark.

Where can I attach the light to my dog’s gear?

The integrated Quick Clip fits Ruffwear collars, harnesses, and apparel light loops. You can also clip it directly onto standard webbing, or even your own backpack or jacket for personal visibility.
