Easy snap and no leaks
Been using Gardena stuff for many years. They work without the jams other brands tend to have. They do not leak. Durability has been very good with a few breaks.

Genuine Article
For some reason it's hard to find genuine Gardena products in our local garden centers and hardware stores. But if you have Gardena connectors (as I have for 30 years) you know how convenient and helpful they can be. After a few decades, plastic fatigue sets in and you need to replace these pop-in adapters. Glad Amazon had them, and they are a perfect fit for both very old and brand new Gardena hose ends.

Additional Quick Connect Option and Fits Melnor brand
I own several Gardena sprinklers and like the quick connect option. This item is a great way to extend that ability to more parts of my yard. This item also fits the "Melnor" quick-connect brand which is found at my local Home Depot.

Precise machining
Plastic but made in Germany, so far so good.

Effective but fragile.
I like using these quick release connectors. These are easy to use and do not leak. The only flaw is that they are somewhat fragile. I use them to attach sprinklers and watering wands to hoses. I have had a number of them break when pulling the hose by the sprinkler or wand. Now I try to remember to pull the hose instead. Also had one break when I dropped a wand it was attached to.

Seeme to be the real thing
Appears too be the Actual Gardena product but at a much more reasonable price from what you can get at Brick and mortar stores - if you can find them - just need to be able to wait for delivery which in our case was a few weeks.

Both cracked within a month. Less than 2 months of use.
They seemed to be the real deal but they were short lived. Both cracked below the threads. Hoping to find a metal alternative
