Would it fit a chocolate chip cookie??? The lip of the bag?

Hi! I suppose that all depends on the size of the cookie. Standard Oreos or Chips Ahoy? For sure. Massive cookies like something from Crumbl? Maybe not, but honestly never tried. The opening is 5 inches long so it should fit most cookies. We currently have a bag with graham crackers with the s'mores supplies in our pantry and have also stored Girl Scout cookies in them. Yes, I know it sounds crazy that the Girl Scout cookies lasted long enough in our house to require the use of air tight packaging, but they did. In short...yes, the bags will fit cookies.

There is a wide variety of products here on Amazon; search terms like "mylar bag heat sealer", "impulse sealer", or "crimp sealer". Outside of buying a specialized product, you could also use a standard clothes iron or hair straightener (presuming you already have 1 or both in your home).
