The best drain cover
The design of this drain cover is seriously the - best - ever. I have lived in many apartments, and have only found these drain covers in NYC bathtub/showers and nowhere else. I've been missing this design every time I moved. The middle part is slightly raised, so all your hair kind of collects around it in a ring shape, but doesn't block the holes at the top. The holes are all pretty big too, so even a big clump of hair won't block them up. They are small enough though that if you drop an earring, it will not go down the drain. This was also super easy to install. You just screw in the giant bolt, tighten it a little - not too tight, and you're all set! I've been using mine for several months with no complaints.

Cats think it is OK.
Meow bought this due to too much fur getting in the way of proper draining. Has much larger holes and area to make drains work without having to worry about fur on a daily basis. Meow gives it 4 paws up.

Tub drain strainer
It worked fine but screw was too small for my tub but works ok without tightening screw. Typical plumbing problems.

Replaced a rusted strainer
It was perfect for my needs. Came complete with everything that I needed for installation. Fit my tub, which is a standard tub. Installation took 2 minutes from start to finish. The hardest part of the process for me was removing the sticky plastic wrapping on the strainer. That took over 2O minutes to scrape it off of the strainer. That part was really annoying.

No rust and that's important
I purchase this strainer because the 1 year old strainer was putting rust stains in my new tub. While i have brushed nickel i got this one due to high recommendations concerning rust. The chrome after a week looks like brushed nickel. The slots under the flange also work to remove all the water from the tub. Big problem solved. Oh, the screw is too short as many have said. I used the old one. Thus the low install rating.

Can you even find a correct size tub drain strainer anywhere these days
Too bit small for older tub drains , screw too short / small used it anyway
