Positives: Light, good looking, great insulation. Neutrals: Mug has a lining of insulation film. Some sort of plastic? Is it safe? Negatives: Lid disassembly follows a specific sequence of steps. Odour seems to linger. Even in the instruction manual they state not to use it for anything with fats or carbonated beverages. Really this mug is for hot water and tea, but only add the leaves or tea bag at the time of consumption.

I love these travel bottles; I have two now. They are insulated very well for their size and ice stays intact in there for many hours. I like that it's slimmer than a lot of other travel bottles because I can fit it in many places that those real big ones can't. That also makes it easier to hold if you have smaller hands. It is easy to clean and I like drinking out of it like a cup instead of any kind of fussy spout that can get all grungy and germy.

I take this item when I go out. And also, I pour boiled water into this bottle before I sleep. Next morning, it becomes good temperature for brewing tea or dropping coffee.

Zojirushi never disappoints. My daughter gave this bottle to her school bus driver as a gift. He has used it everyday!
