Crystal Essence Mineral Deodorant Spray, Unscented, All Over Body Deodorant, 4 Fl Oz

I’ve been using this and I absolutely love it. I enjoy natural products. I typically use antibacterial soap under my armpits and then I’ll spray this and to be honest I never smell if you’re having a longer day reapplying is always great. The only downfall is that it is not an anti-perspirant, which means it does not stop you from sweating. So recently I bought a anti-perspirant deodorant just as a backup for certain days I may wear a satin blouse ect , I don’t want any wet marks, etc. and can I tell you that I’ve used it and within a few hours there’s some sort of smell in combination with the deodorant? And that’s me also using antibacterial soap prior because it’s my usual routine versus this spray when I spray this I’m good… just to say that what really is out there, if it’s not natural…It’s probably not good. Will be on the search for a natural antiperspirant for days when I know that I will be sweating often, but other than that, this is my go to and I know that I will be odor free. Also wanted to share there may be some issues sometimes with clogging of the nozzle, which is the only downfall, but I reached out to them and their customer service was amazing. They provided me with additional nozzles and a complementary bottle for the inconvenience.

I just discovered this deodorant and am so glad I did! I’ve tried many different kinds of natural deodorants and antiperspirants, including sprays and solids, and they all caused problems. They didn’t control odor, they caused a rash, they left yellow stains on my clothes, they left a film caked on my clothes that smelled disgusting, or they weren’t available in unscented and triggered allergies. I even tried one that cost $15 a bottle! This one checks all the boxes, including a reasonable price. Even after working out, it controls underarm odor. I’m so thankful I found it and plan to be a loyal customer.

I love this deodorant but I have it 4 stars because the spray pump seems to stop spraying halfway through the bottle. It’s not stopped up it just stops functioning.

This product I just love. I'm in Peri and I love this to spray all over it keeps me smelling fresher longer. On top of that this is the only mineral deodorant that works for me. I love the scent and how I can spray this wherever I need it. This is like applying water it's not sticky it absorbs quickly and leaves no residue it's completely clear. I love how this has no aluminum. The scent is really nice too. Another great thing this doesn't irritate me after I shave and I have very sensitive skin. I highly recommend the spray if you're going to try this. Highly recommended.

I have what I would consider to be a problem perspiration and I have used Dry Idea roll-on exclusively for probably the past 25 or 30 years. I have never had any problem with and it always kept me sweet smelling and dry. Over the years they change the formula many times and I never had any problem with the changes but all of a sudden out of the blue 5 or 6 months ago I got a horrible irritation, swelling, bumps and bad redness under both arms, bordering on abscesses and I knew it was the Dry Idea and that I needed to make a change. I have wanted to get away from anti-perspirants for a long time and on and off had tried some of the natural things over the years, but I couldn't even make it through a 12 hr day without smelling bad. But since I know now that anti-perspirants are bad for me after having a reaction, I decided to force myself to deal with whatever happened when I switched to a natural deodorant. I bought various forms of it such as the Thai solid and powder lines, various forms of Crystal Essence and found that pretty much all of them work about the same, so I decided to just keep what I liked the smell of which ended up being the Crystal Essence pomegranate spray and the same scent in the roll-on. In between showers if I started to notice odor, I wet some dry wipes I buy here on Amazon with 91% alcohol and clean under my arms with that. It has less water than regular 70% alcohol, and is usually sold alongside the 70% in drugstores. It does not irritate me at all, and I found that this killed the smell better that washing with even Betadine surgical scrub or other strong soaps outside of the shower. In the shower I'd have to wash and rinse at least twice to kill the smell. Anyway I figured that I was in for a life of never making it through a day without starting to smell, but over time I noticed it starting to get better and better and after about four months I noticed that I wasn't smelling at all anymore and I was able to make it fully through the day and longer. I think your body has to adjust to it and I think that allowing the toxins to come out for all those months brought me to a healthier new "normal" which I am thrilled about. It has always bothered me using chemicals under my arms as it seemed like a bad idea to plug up an exit spot for toxins. As you know, this does not stop sweating, but as long as I don't smell, I do not mind a little dampness when it's hot outside. I have not had wet underarms at all. I have it down to using the Crystal Essence pomegranate roll-on after a shower and if I need to touch up or cannot shower one day, I use the spray after I wipe the underarms with alcohol (which rarely is necessary anymore, but I do it for hygiene). The spray lasts a very long time, I use 4-5 sprays for each arm, but 4 is plenty. So glad I stuck it out because it was very rough at times! I just figured it was my lot in life to deal with stinky underarms and had no idea it would get better with time after all the toxins had exited. I enjoy the solid Crystal deodorant but thought I might like to try a spray as it’s quicker and doesn’t contaminate the stick if you apply over less-than-fresh skin. I saw a deal on this two pack of spray and took a risk on a scent I’d never tried because they have apparently stopped making my favorite one or are having supply-chain issues with that scent. The spray does the job, but it applies very wet and cold for longer than you would expect. I sweated it off within 12 hours at moderate exercise/hiking. I have had no skin irritation, but the perfume makes me sneeze. The pomegranate smells more like old lady rose soap cakes from the 1970s with a stringent piqaunt finish (minus the pleasantness because if you smell that, you are likely to experience it again with swamp pits later and that’s a layering combo to make anyone question their life choices). To quote Portlandia: “It works….kinda.”

This has been my default for nearly 20 years, no joke. It was easy to use and if I applied 4-6 sprays per arm it would last easily 24+ hours if I was active and 48+ hours if I was not active. I would have been a customer for life if they had maintained product quality. However, after the most recent package style changes the product simply no longer works, at all. It may as well just be water in a spray bottle. 100% useless. It may actually be worse than water, I tried it on one arm and not the other and the arm that I sprayed smelled funky in a couple of hours while it took nearly 8 hours for the arm with no spray to smell like anything. (8 hours of just resting and watching TV, nothing strenuous) Thinking I got a bad batch I bought it again, and again. But I'm done, three times in a row with this new packaging and all of them have been useless. I've bought this product in the old packaging dozens of times over the last two decades and as of 2023 they just lost a customer. EDIT: After how bad this new version of the product works, I had the sudden realization that the original was mostly just "salt in water" something I should be able to make at home, right? Yea, turns out that was all I needed to do: google a recipe for it and now I can make my own at home and after testing it, it works as good or better than the original product that I used to buy from this company. I have no idea why they changed the formula to be so weak that it doesn't work, I guess they wanted to save money and put less salt in the product. Well, now they save me money, making it myself is stupid cheap and I even use their bottles to refill with my formula. (though you can easily buy little spray bottles from anywhere and refill them yourself) Seriously, it's 4 ounces of distilled water, warm it and dissolve 4 (or more) teaspoons of sea salt into it. Done. That's all that is required. Want a tiny bit of scent? Use a few drops of food grade peppermint oil (from the baking section of your grocery store). Peppermint oil is also antimicrobial, antifungal and helps prevent yeast growth. Some people also splash in a bit of witch hazel, but I prefer without it. Basically you can customize it however you want, but the main thing is just distilled water and sea salt. (or pink Himalayan salt, or any salt that hasn't been tampered with or had additives put into it: so don't use any table salt that has sugar, starch or iodine added to it) Note that you need to have cleaned and disinfected your armpits prior to use, salt prevents bacteria and fungus growth so that smells don't start, but it will not make it go away if it already smells. Wash with antibacterial soap and/or alchhol until your armpits are 100% clean and smell free. Dry, then spray on your salt mixture. Allow to air dry (don't wipe, you'll wipe away the salt). You can add another salt layer every 12 to 24 hours if you've been sweating just in case any of the sweat has moved the salt out of place. I'll be very happy making my own salt mixes from now on.

I Love these Deodorant Sprays because they smell Amazing!! The texture is a Fine Mist that instantly Dries which a Lavender Scent that leaves your skin feeling so Good & Moisturizing. This is a very Safe Deodorant Spray due to, No Aluminum! There is no Residue when using this Product! I love the Design of the Bottle due to it's Size it is very Eassy to Store or Carry it with you on the Go 😊

I'm very impressed with the results of this product. I wore it after shower and did a high intensity workout which makes me sweat like crazy. I had 0 smell of sweat after the workout. It's amazing! However, I believe that the product only helps with preventing unpleasant odors rather than controling the amount of sweat. But, it is amazing how it feels like it solves the smell issue from the root rather than just concealing it!

I bought it because I was already using this type of deodorant but from another brand and at the time I couldn't find my regular product but it's not the same, I don't know how natural it is but it doesn't do its job. At least for me it doesn't work all day...
