Can I use it to punch a hole in a sequin?

I have not tried, but I would think it would work well on typical plastic one.

Is this suitable for paper fastner?

I doubt it, the hole is very tiny. I'm using it for my button cards.

Would this work on thick plastic? Like for the end of lipgloss tubes for key rings?

IMO probably not. The hole is tiny and the tool is not all that sturdy. Sorry.

I want to use this to make small holes in plastic bags to put my businneses tags on a string through. So the hole cant be too big. This would work?

That's why I got it. It works well... the tag gun needle is just a tad bigger then the hole but it works with out ripping it. It does not tear the hole the hole punch made and looks professional.
