Bought these to replace a plastic one I got glue on. These are light to hold, handle paints well, inks ok (they tend to sink in quickly) and has a nice feel to it. For a low cost purchase, I’m pretty happy with the results

We used this paint palette for a school project and it came out perfect. Also like to add that it was easy to clean off the paint from the palette as well.

These wooden palettes are lightweight and comfortable to hold, even during long painting sessions. The finish makes them easy to clean, though I noticed a bit of staining with certain paints. They’re great for mixing colors and feel very professional. Overall, an excellent addition to my art supplies.

So I gave them a little sanding before applying linseed oil. Use a lint-free rag; leaving a thin layer of oil. Let it dry for a few days, keeping it dust-free. Then repeat until you have two or three layers at least. Allow it to dry in between layers. Once that is done, you can oil paint without the paint absorbing into the wood, and it makes cleaning easier.

It's so leveled you can paint on it. Now I did use it for the intended purpose but then I got creative. There's a lot of area space and you can create cool pieces with it at the cost of functionality. Worth the money even though it became a canvas.

Kinda cheep, kinda small, but fits in my wet pallet keeper. Using it in the studio to get used to it, but the plan is to take it with me for travel and plein air. It is a bit rough on the hand holding it but I could run some sandpaper around the gripping surfaces. Not really a problem for an hour or two but I have noticed some redness on my wrist and hand when I used it for 4 hours with out a break.

Nice looking, very even fine grain wood. On close look, they are a mahogany veneer on MDF. They smell like mahogany too. It's an excellent wood for water contact. But the MDF is not. They work fine whether you clean them every time or just let the paint build up. But, if soaked or setting out in the rain for a good time, the core will go cauliflower on you unless they used a higher quality bond. At this price, I doubt it. I would rather just use them and treat them with a little care.
