Saw dead fleas falling off my cat within hours - worth every penny
This is by far superior flea treatment. People complaining about smell.. well DUHH, it's a medication. What do you expect it to smell like.. Perfume? Give me a break. Application was easy and typical if you've used other flea treatments. You just part their fur on the back of their neck and squeeze the tube (above the shoulder blades.) Within a few hours I was seeing black spots on my orange tabby - which were literally dead fleas. I have been dealing with fleas for the last 6 months and trying products, and this is the first where I could visually see results. When I ran a flea comb through my boy's fur I could see dead fleas on it! My poor boy was miserable, and scratching his skin non-stop for the last few days bc of the fleas. He has been sleeping like a baby all day, probably bc he's been restless from itching and discomfort. My cat had no discomfort or concerning skin/fur reactions although his hair looks a little spikey like a punkrocker. The "bad smell" was worth 100% worth it. If you're seriously THAT concerned about smell then use one of the ineffective products offered by other sellers.

IMPRESSIVE
Our tiny tiger was not happy with Springtime in Texas! Nothing was working to treat his fleas, and they were taking over his fur. We took a chance with Cheristin and paired it with an inexpensive flea collar, and after one day the only fleas we saw were dead ones!

This is very strong, but please confirm that your cat has fleas before you apply this medicine.
I put two tubes of this on my cat within 2 days, because I spilled the first tube onto her fur, on the back of her neck, and the first tube had no effect on stopping her scratching and red sores on her forehead. I assumed that a 2nd tube would work better, since I didn't get much of the first tube onto her skin. Big mistake! I should not have applied the 2nd tube. So applying the 2 tubes has put my cat into an altered state, where she has lost her mind temporarily. As I'm typing this my cat is running behind the computer into the cords and hiding and she has NEVER went back there before, and she won't stop crying, even though she is not vomiting and she did eat her food. She seems to be in mental shock, or in a state of trauma, and she can't stop licking herself and also whining super loud. The two tubes made her skin way more red and inflamed, although she isn't scratching herself. I think she isn't scratching because she forgot how to scratch herself, she is in a really bad confused mental shock. Physically, she seems fine, she ate her food. And has been eating, but she has been crying constantly and going into the OPPOSITE places that a cat should go. Like she climbed onto a sub-woofer and then jumped underneath my computer monitor that is sitting on my desk. Okay so what I've noticed is that cats cannot have chemicals on their skin. Anything you put on their skin can make them violently sick. I knew this from putting the brown Sulfur bath solution on her previously, which made her throw up, and was not effective. I should have known better than put 2 tubes of this product on. Please only use 1 tube, and wait 30 days (according to the instructions) before applying more. If you're having hot spots, try Chlorahexadine solution which always worked and didn't make my cat sick, but my cat HATES the smell of it and fights to get away from it. And you can also try Hypochloric Acid (Hot Spot Spray) which was effective too for small hot spots. My cat has been licking constantly and having red rashes, but I haven't been able to figure it out. My cat has red rashes above each eyebrow. My outdoor cat that interacts her has never had a single problem, and no sign of any skin issues. But my indoor/outdoor cat has a severe rash on the top of her head. The Flea medicine worked for 2 weeks, when I tried this product over 30 days ago. But it wore off quickly, within about 10 days, and then she started scratching and licking. I would avoid this product if your cat has a small hot spots. Try to confirm that your cat has fleas before using this product, because it is very potent.

Cherestin as a product works very well!
While this always works well, the shipping this time was terrible. The package was smashed and open, with the Cherestin loose in the bottom of the bag. Fortunately the actual tube was still intact.
