TSINY High Torque 12 Volt 80 RPM DC Worm Gear Motor for BBQ Drive Replacement

This motor produces some decent torque, however one of them I purchased had broken easily, as my motor connector was misaligned and was catching the edge of a steel surface as a spun for a brief moment. I took apart the gearbox, and observed that one of the gears bearing majority of the load is made of plastic and had been destroyed. I ended up purchasing another one because it is a decent motor, and learned from my mistake. This however doesn’t go without saying that it probably wouldn’t have immediately busted if that gear hadn’t been made of plastic.

Well to start the one star is because you have to give it something. I was lead to believe it was reversible but in my case that was not true (problem one). The next problem (#two) was it only ran for about three minutes but for those short three minutes I was pleased with the the speed then it started to jerk then it stopped I quickly unplugged it to prevent a fire it was very hot for a motor that should turn a barbecue rotisserie which is far greater of a job than whit I bought it for don’t waste your money I’m out $26.88 plus tax.
