This is a great affordable primer! It makes my face feel silky smooth and I find that my foundation lasts longer when I use it. I also love the light, sweet scent that is not overwhelming. I plan on making this part of my regular make up routine.

When I first purchased this primer I didn’t think much of it. I purchased it after seeing some videos on YouTube about it. I wasn’t sure if it was gimmicky or not. There is mixed reviews from some of the beauty gurus. One of my favorite YouTube beauty gurus loved it so I decided to give it a try. After a few uses I realized my makeup looked much better and stayed on longer. I love this with both powder foundation and liquid foundation. My pores and fine lines looked better when using this primer. I’ve tried a ton of primers both high end and drugstore. I like this one because it’s multitasking. It makes your face feel really soft and blurred pores without drying my skin out. I have combo skin so it can be hard to find a primer that doesn’t make my skin greasy but also doesn’t dry out my skin. The hydrating primers make my skin oily and the matte primers don’t give that nice plump healthy look to the skin. This one is a winner because it’s a good I’m between. I will be using it all summer and most likely year round. In the hottest months I will set my t zone with setting powder so I don’t get oily. Bonus- I love the very light sweet scent and also the texture! If your skin is super oily there may be better primers out there for you, otherwise if you have combo, normal, dry, etc. I would give it a try! If you get oily in places like me then a little setting powder over foundation with this works like a charm. It really holds makeup on well so the powder doesn’t slide off!

I was in the market for a new face primer to use under the rest of my makeup, and saw that this had great reviews so I decided to take the plunge! Unfortunately, I don't think this product is quite as good of a fit for me, my skin type, and the makeup that I use as I originally thought--although, it still has some perks along with what I interpreted as downsides. This product probably works better for those with dry skin, because it feels VERY moisturizing when applied. I use a moisturizer/serum/SPF before, and if I wait for those to dry, I don't notice any pilling at all. I tend to lean more towards silicone-based primers, and I will say that this does blur imperfections just as well when applied. It also smells great, but fragrance can be irritating for sensitive skin (I haven't had this problem, though!) I do have more combination/oily skin, though--so a lot of the makeup that I use for my face is intended to cater towards those problems. I noticed that when I apply foundation and concealer over this using a beauty blender, sometimes the products do not mesh well with it, and it creates a patch of separation where my bare skin pokes through. I can potentially see it jiving beter with less-matte and more hydration-based makeup, though. While I can feel the product on my skin long after application, and it continues to provide moisture, this can make my makeup more "slippery" throughout the day since my skin does produce more oils with longer wear. It makes me a bit scared that I'll scratch my face and have a streak where I rubbed the makeup off, haha. Thus, I think I will stick to primers with more longevity towards controlling oil or that have a bit more "stickiness" as opposed to moisturizing properties.

I love this primer. It definitely helps my makeup stay a lot longer. I love that the texture is kinda marshmallowey, it helps smooth everything out. Do be aware it has a ridiculously sweet smell. I personally really like it, but there have been a morning or two where I wasn't feeling well and just couldn't handle the sweetness. I normally have really oily skin and will use this with my everyday makeup, but on days I put on a more full face of makeup I reach for one that'd stands up to oil a bit more. Right now I'm on a round of accutane (extra dry skin) and use this for all days of makeup. It's not overly moisturizing by itself, but pairs well with a thick moisturizer under it.

You know, I don't usually like to fallow all the trends I see online. But this one had me curious. First of all NYX rarely disappoints anyhow, so I figured I may end up liking this. I Absolutely did! I'll start off by saying, that yes, I too like a primer that makes stuff last. Usually that entails that the primer is a little "tacky" to the touch and sometimes that sacrifices the moisture, and leaves my skin feeling a little dry, sticky, or stiff after a days use. This primer does NOT do those things, and STILL delivers long lasting wear, a great hold on my makeup, and primes the skin to a great moisture level that leaves me looking soft, and still hangs onto my cosmetics for the long haul (What a trooper eh? heehee) The smell bugged some people from what I saw, I love it. I happen to think marshmallow is a very good smell. Truth be told you could have called it "Frosting" "Cream" or "Cupcake" and I woulda felt the same, it's just a sweet smell, and that's all there is too it. Marshmallow probably more defines it's grip/stick. The packaging is a bigger size, and you do not need a ton at a time, a little goes a long way, with a dispenser that works excellent (three tubes in, zero clogs or build up). I think they nailed it on this one. Highly recommend for anyone, but excellent for skin that is NOT oily and maybe even more so on the dry side. As long as this is being made, I'll always keep a tube on hand.

Entre ellas, que te ayuda a disimular los poros lo cual, no es cierto. En mi perspectiva, te promete más de lo que hace pero eso no quiere decir que sea malo. Cumple su función, el maquillaje me dura más en comparación a no utilizar un primer. Lo que más me gusta es que es hidratante y hace que el maquillaje se vea muy bien. Si andas en la onda del "clean girl look" este primer te va a ayudar bastante. Tiene fragancia, la cual es ligera y rica pero sé que algunas personas esto les molesta, así que considéralo. Esta es la segunda o tercera vez que lo compro y me gusta mucho, dudo cambiar de primer en un buen tiempo. Como tip, si buscas algo que te ayude a disimular los poros Nyx tiene un primer que es buenísimo, lo uso arriba de este y me da el efecto perfecto que busco sin hacerse bolitas. Otro punto a favor es que lo uso por encima de una rutina de cuidado de la piel bastante extensiva y no se hace bolitas o se ve mal.

Este maquillaje se ha convertido en mi favorito por su *cobertura perfecta* y *textura ligera* que no obstruye los poros. Dura todo el día sin cuartearse y su acabado mate/natural (¡según prefieras!) deja mi piel con un aspecto impecable. Ideal para quienes buscan *resultados profesionales* sin sacrificar la comodidad. ¡Un básico en mi neceser

WONDERFUL ! works amazingly under makeup to really hold everything in place and reduces the pores and lines. Highly recommend. Smell is just light enough to know you applied it not heavily fragranced overall.

Best thing about this primer is that it’s very moisturizing for the winter even as a silicone based primer. One pump went a long way in the back of my hand when testing it out, and it smells like an actual marshmallow. This is the best primer for dry skin highly recommend during winter.

Love this, spreads nicely no smell to it but it give a great base for your foundation
