I was told about this product during a very desperate time in my life. I had hair down to my back but after a series of different hair styles my hair started to completely change. I am mixed raced (black & Hispanic) and I’ve always had strong, healthy hair. Well my hair started to fall out (I was only 26) I started freaking out. Just keeping it in buns thinking it just needed a break. Well fast forward to a year later my hair is still in the same condition. It literally was just falling out. If I left it in a bun for a week and turned around and washed and conditioned it, it would fall out. I got so desperate I cut it to my shoulders, it was at my butt but it was so damaged and uneven. If I washed it and didn’t condition it, it would mat up and become a living nightmare to untangle. I suffered for a full year with not understanding what was happening to my hair. I heard about this from a hair stylist and decided to try it. Let me tell you, it did no disappoint!!! I seen results immediately. I am so happy because my hair is no longer falling out, my curls are back to normal! Yes my beautiful curl pattern is back thank god! I can brush through it now with little to no breakage. It looks healthy! It feels healthy! Who would have known all my hair needed was some vitamins. I am so happy I found this stuff! I read the bad reviews and I am shocked because it works so well for me but everyone’s hair is different but I’m so happy this helped me! Results in 1 day! You can’t beat that! A few months ago I dyed my hair purple and while it was beautiful, it completely destroyed my hair. Ever since then, my hair has been breaking off in clumps and won't even hold color anymore. I don't want to cut it all off, so I've been desperately looking for a way to save my frizzy, fried, damaged, color-treated hair. I saw someone talk about this Aphogee 2-Step Hair Strengthening kit and was immediately intrigued. But some of the reviews were downright scary! I decided to buy it for myself and made a little YouTube video so you can decide if this product is right for you. In a nutshell, here is how to use the product: 1. First you need to wash your hair and towel it dry. 2. Then you apply the Aphogee step 1. It comes out super fast and is REALLY slimy. It reminded me of egg yolks or snail trails. 3. Then you let it sit on your hair for several minutes. I was kind of scared of my hair falling out so I washed it after 6 minutes. It never got hard like some reviewers said it was supposed to, so I wasn't sure if I was doing it right. 4. Next you apply step 2 and leave it on for 2 minutes. 5. Finally rinse the product out. When I was done, I noticed that almost all of the color was stripped from the bleached parts of my hair. In fact I was so distraught over this, I thought the product was a huge fail. To be fair though, I did just wash it prior with clarifying shampoo - that might have been the main reason why the color was stripped. Meh, it was probably a result of both. But after the course of a few hours, my hair actually felt softer. Like, it seriously got better as the day wore on. It was so weird! And when I went to brush it later, less hair was coming out. I was also noticing less hair loss with subsequent washes! Does the product do what it is supposed to and make your hair stronger? I would say yes! But this is made for those of us who have SERIOUSLY FRIED hair. And that straw hair still has to get cut off eventually, but this should allow me a chance to grow it a bit more before I have to chop it off. I think the people posting about it making their hair fall out, might not have had the same amount of damage that the Aphogee was designed for. Buttttt, make sure you use it like a day or two before you plan to color or chemically treat your hair. Don't let what happened to me, happen to you!

My go-to for reviving my curls!

I'm not sure if this item works since 1, this is a new product and you produced such small sized tubes that it will become quite expensive just to achieve the results the company claims the product can do. 2 no it does not repair immediately and my hair is in recovery mode so it's in pretty good shape. ITS A SHAME THEY DON'T CONSIDER PEOPLE WITH LONG OR THINCK HAIR WHEN THEY DECIDED AMOUNT. I did like the smell the feel of the product it just wasnt enough to distribute thru my entire head of hair. So, they get an F for price per amount. I left the products on longer so they could penetrate. My hair was soft tangle free. It blow dried with ease and not a lot of frizz but I use tension method.. Make the product larger and available separately so if you need more of something you can buy it.

I am soooo happy my dermatologist told me to order this product for my extremely damaged hair. LSS! I ended up getting a bad hair Botox treatment from a salon that took my hair out and completely destroyed my hair so much so I had to go to a doctor to help me. I tried everything and nothing worked. I had shoulder length hair before the hair Botox to almost all of my hair gone but thankfully the doctor told me to get this product. For the first time since getting the hair Botox my floor is not covered in hair after washing it.

Affordable product for dry damaged hair. I use every other month on my bleached blonde 2c hair. Using too much protein is not good for the hair so don’t use as a regular hair care treatment, this is more of an intense treatment for damaged hair.

I have fine, high porosity 4B/4C hair. I prefer to use this over the other treatment that requires using a blow dryer or hair dryer. I can distribute this much better over my hair and comb it through with my fingers to better distribute without feeling like I'm breaking off my hair, unlike the other one - iykyk. My wash day goes my faster and easier. I just wish it came in a larger size and wasn't so pricey.
