This does not come assembled. It took me two days on and off to finish it. It came out great and my granddaughter absolutely loves it. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an affordable doll house. I don’t understand 17? If you are asking if it is 17 inches high, it is much larger than that.

Would this work for 6” dolls?

It would be more appropriate for a 2 1/2 to 5 in doll/toy in my opinion. The furniture that came with it definitely works better with my granddaughter's small figures. I will try to post some photos.
