NV Holders Improved 2.0, with improved clasps; premium shirt stays, shirt holders, shirt garters, shirt tuckers for men

I have been on the fence about trying shirt stays for several years. Growing up, the only alternative method to shirt-tucking I knew of was suspenders. When I entered the professional field, I heard whispers and rumors of shirt stays - but I was never convinced. However, once i lost 50lbs from a diet, I desperately needed a solution to my tucking problem! Once I lost my "dad-bod", my shirts slipped out from my pants CONSTANTLY. Working in an environment where professional appearance is important, I was ready to try anything. Doing my research, the original NV Holders kept coming up in articles I was reading when exploring the best options. I saw plenty of reviews and testimonials praising these products. However, several things concerned me and gave me pause. 1. I did not want to spend $40 on the product and 2. I saw many reviews talking about the same problem - loose clamps and visible evidence of their use through pants. When I saw that they solved these issues with version 2.0, I figured i'd give it a try! Packaging: Product arrived in one of those padded amazon bags. For this product, this worked just fine. No damage or delays in transit. Product: The shirt stays arrives in a bag with a carrying case. The elastic material feels very strong to the touch and has a lot spring back when pulled. The clamps are made of metal, and stay tightly secured. Instead of "teeth" like suspenders has, they have a flat metal clasp. The side of the stays sport the companies logo. Fit/feel: Trying them on and adjusting them properly was slightly awkward at first. But the stays DID stretch out after several uses. The shirt stays have three bands - two for the front of the shirt and one for the back. When you first put them on, you can certainly feel them around your thighs. However, after about 30 minutes you'll forget they are even there. Finding the correct position on the thigh both vertically and laterally was a bit tricky. However, the stay bands do have adjustments on them, allowing for several different positions to all work the same. The stays are not visible even through my thinnest work pants. The end result: Day one with the stays: i was AMAZED! My shirt stayed tucked the entire 12 hour shift at work. Recently losing weight, I did have pants/shirts that were slightly larger than my body type needed. The shirt stays allowed the shirt to stay tucked and remained shapely on my body. Because of this, I got MANY compliments and comments about how I looked at work! I have since been wearing them 3-4 times a week. My only complaint is that sometimes, if they are adjusted too tightly, the clamps will unclasp. Unless you have access to the bathroom, you can feel the loose strap flailing around in your pants. Beyond that, i have no complaints with the product. Final thoughts: If you are on the fence about this product, let this review be the change to get you to make the jump. Even if you don't buy THIS product, I highly suggest trying shirt stays in general. They will change the way you feel in the clothes you already own, and give you the boost in confidences that your shirt is going to stay EXACTLY where you want it. I have been wearing these for several weeks and have had three separate friends order them. In fact, i was best man in a wedding recently. I ordered some for all the groomsmen. After a day of photos, speeches and dancing, not a single shirt was found to be untucked or out of place. My tucking problem was solved! 5/5 would buy again.

Wide adjustment range with good quality, non itchy fabric. Clips have never popped open, but she does lose tension after a lot of movement. Can be adjusted with pants at the waist and belt open.

It’s nice not having to have straps running down my legs but you do sacrifice some tension. They are easy to out on and look like they are made well. I have had no problems with the clasp coming loose or being able to open as some reviews have stated. I would only say that they seem to be designed like most things, around men that are 6 feet tall or over and if you are on the under 6 feet you run out of strap to tighten it. It still has a good fit and works well for keep a shirt tucked and tight so that’s not a deal breaker for me

I’ve been using a shirt stay that loops around the soles of my feet; however it is uncomfortable as the day goes on and people can see the leads down your legs when they bend. This design fixes the issue by keeping everything above the knee. The unit is discreet and functions well. The only issue is they may not work well for long shirts (ones that drape past your upper thigh). The straps have a minimum length of around 5” so, if your shirt drapes closer than 5” above the thigh band, the straps would either attach limply to the bottom of your shirt, or you’d have to fold the bottom of the shirt up and connect to a crease. These are poorly designed for various reasons. For one, the clips are awful and pull off of the shirts way too easily. Given that these clips are the "improved" version due to innumerable complaints, it's clear this company only wants to cheap out every chance they can. Secondly, even at the shortest adjustable length, the straps are WAY, WAY too long. So these only work if you wear them really far down your leg which is a serious problem because if you're buying this style of shirt stay, you probably want them for use with shorts, so you better enjoy showing them off! The end result is an expensive mistake that I never use. The kedofe brand shirt stays that sell for $10 on this site are unironically leagues above these in competence and quality. The clips on those grip HARD, and the straps adjust to be shorter as well. Save your money and get those, they actually work great.

Durability wasn't there, lasted just over a year. Not good for a long tail shirt, Adjusted to the shortest length and still wasn't short enough to work. You would have to have ones fitted for your calf's.

So far, these are the BEST shirt keeps on amazon. I owned the prior version of these, and the upgraded clasps are worth the investment. They keep my uniform looking tucked, tight, and sharp throughout the day with little to no adjustment needed. ALSO!!! The auctioned service is phenomenal! I stepped on a clasp accidentally and bent it out of shape, and was fully prepared to pay to ship it to and from for repairs, but they’ve offered to send me new ones straight from the warehouse! 10/10 all around can’t recommend these shirt keeps enough. Upon opening the presentation is very nice with a fabric pouch included. Attachment was very intuitive and my shirt stayed tucked in the entire day I wore it. I will say that the loops were incredibly uncomfortable at first as they cut off blood circulation (21inch legs purchased size small), but this was solved without much fuss. I took them off and stretched them to their maximum length a few times and then wore again, after two hours they fit me like a glove and I hardly notice them at all. The mechanism is invisible when wearing pants, and my pants are pretty tight. Upon close inspection of the stitching and overall craftsmanship I would conclude that this is a luxury quality product. No loose threads or any imperfections of any kind. No off gassing smells. These are not your cheap made in china fast fashion products commonly found on amazon. I would recommend this to anyone who wears dress shirts as it makes them look 100% better, it is comfortable, it is high quality, and it is affordable

This shirt-tucking belt is a game-changer! I'm a chronic untucker, and by the end of the day, I usually look like a wrinkled mess. Not anymore! It works exceptionally well, but it’s lil hard to wear it initially. Once you wear it for a couple of times you will see it’s worth. Every single rupee is worth it. All men please buy this and thank me later 😜

Clips (for Holding Shirts) are not working properly. These clips frequently come off the shirt, which defeats the purpose. I had to frequently visit the changing room, to clip those back to my shirt. Very annoying and not comfortable thing to do if you work in a corporate office. NOT RECOMMENDED.
