I love this stuff! I’ve used it before, and a few years later have bought more. (of the same pattern) This picture doesn't do it justice. looks soooo good with bright daylight behind it. Super easy to fit, not messy or sticky at all. And easy peasey to remove.

This window film was perfect for restoring and revamping an old glass showcase for our shop!

In comparison to the reflective shade film I got at Walmart, this one is such a waste of money. The Walmart one blocks far more sunlight. It also stays on the window without adhesive. Installing it is dead easy as long as you measure the window and trim to size before putting it up. This one needs to be adhered to the window. It’s a sticker after you pull off the protective film. An incredibly thin, sticker that is bound to stick to itself in the process of installation, resulting in lots of creases. You might be thinking, “Well, maybe you just put it on wrong? Didn’t follow the instructions?” The first time I screwed up the adhesive from it sticking to itself. The second time I was methodical about it. I clung it to the window using just water to see if it would stay — it didn’t. The corner started lifting within a couple hours. I started unpeeling the protective film from the top right corner, just enough to get it to stick to the window in its already aligned position. Then I slowly peeled all across the top, again just enough to get the top edge to stick. The idea being that if I just slowly peeled the rest of it, it would 100% be smooth and aligned. Once I got the top edge down, I sprayed the window with water per the directions it came with and started peeling. Simultaneously while peeling, I had a squeegee making sure it was going down evenly. The water got trapped in the film instead and the film is so thin that trying to squeegee it out actually creased it permanently. It’s also so thin that it was entirely not aligned by the middle point because of how flimsy and bendy it is. Maybe it would’ve worked better if I hadn’t followed the instructions with the water? I’m keeping them up for now cause it’s better than nothing. Once the non-adhered ones fall off, I’ll be picking up more film at Walmart.

Installed in garage on a west facing wall with double pane windows that have long since leaked out the gas and so they don't look too pretty in the first place. The printed instructions are pretty basic- accurate, but watching a you-tube video will make the steps and some techniques more clear. For the product myself, my biggest criticism is that which side is the the product and which side is the protective film that needs to be removed is not indicated, and the overall film itself is pretty thin, so I started wondering if there really was a protective film. There is. The part you install is slightly sticky once that is removed, so make sure you are working in a clean area without dust etc to pick up if this is for a really critical application. For me, the clear protective film was on the inside of the curled up roll, not the outside. Stick tape overhanging near a corner, rub it good and let it sit for a minute, then pull the tape back and the file should come with it. Might take a few tries. I managed by myself, but I can see how it might be easier with two people if the piece is large. Then I followed what I learned: spray both the film (adhesive side) and window good with warm soapy water. just a drop of dish soap in a spray bottle is enough. I cut my film so it was larger than window by an inch or so top to bottom and side to side and used an old hotel key card (credit card) as my squeegee after placing it so the main body of the film and window were in contact. Started along the top edge and creased the overhanging film good in the edge of the upper frame, then cut with exacto knife to corners, then up at an angle to edge, then repeated for two sides and did the bottom last. squeegee really good as you work your way down. I had enough water on mine that making sure the water was removed was important...otherwise it might look like no bubble, but when that water eventually gets out, you will have a bubble. Clean the window really good before you get started, use a razor blade to scrape tiny specs off if needed, etc. The cleaner the window all over and near the edges, the better the installation will be. I'm satisfied with the product. There were no installation tools included with mine. take time to get everything you need before hand so you aren't rushing around trying to find something when you need it, I spent more time cleaning the window than the rest of the installation took. Its not hard, just take your time and do it right.

This is for the BRICK pattern. It was a good price compared to the other films I've purchased and I really like the colors: soft greens, light blues, cream and tans. Definitely no dark browns as pictured in the photos. If you mentally picture the dark browns shown as more of a milkier brown, that's what it looks like. The buildings within view of my bedroom windows are made of brick that's sort of a light orangey tan, so it turned out that having this on my window for privacy also goes well with the walls outdoors - nice bonus. I also like the width of the roll (17.7") because I wanted the film to cover only the bottom half of my windows so it worked out perfectly for me. The brick pattern runs the length of the roll. So assuming you have windows taller than 17.7" and you want the brick pattern to sit horizontal, you'll be stacking strips of the film on top of each other. A note about the display photo: I roughly counted the horizontal rows and it shows 17 (counting in the center from bottom to top). When I count the same way for the film on my windows, I only come up with 13 rows. As for transparency, you can't see through this film at all. It cuts back on glare without noticeably dimming the light entering the room. I have one window that faces the afternoon sun and the light coming through the film isn't predominantly blue-ish as you might expect; it's more a soft orangey rose .. or rosy orange LOL not sure how to describe it, but it's not very noticeable and is pleasant. No rainbows, glowing colors, or anything of that nature. Finally, the (minor) con: I've used other window films which were heavier and so were a little easier to work with. This stuff must have stretched a bit when I was shifting it on the window because when I accidentally cut a section too short and had to add a slice it was a bit iffy matching the edges. It wasn't too bad though and I'd definitely buy this brand again.
