If you want to use it for damaged hair, I would suggest using the LOC method and using this for the oil section. However, I would have to know your hair grade to ve more helpful

The smell

I like the way it felt on my skin, but had to shower after applying it because it smelled so rancid. I'm not sure it should smell like that. I'm wondering if the bottle I got is old. I'm sad because the other reviews are all so good. I honestly believe I just got a bad bottle. I don't blame the seller.
