This mask is great if your hair feels dry or damaged. It makes a noticeable difference even after the first use—my hair felt softer, smoother, and way easier to manage. I like that you can use it in different ways. As a conditioner it’s quick and still works well, but as a mask it gives deeper hydration. I’ve also used a tiny bit as a leave-in on the ends and it helps with frizz without making my hair greasy. The texture is nice and creamy, spreads easily, and you don’t need loads. It also smells really good—fresh and fruity without being overpowering. After using it regularly, my hair looks healthier and less prone to breakage, especially on the ends. No real downsides for me, especially for the price. It does exactly what it promises and is super easy to fit into any routine.

I bought the Garnier Aloe Vera and Banana Hair Food masks because dry hair has a way of making itself known loudly, usually by looking like it has been brushed with a balloon and a mild sense of regret. Both tubs are great, and I like having the choice between them. The Aloe Vera one feels lighter and fresh, so it is good when hair needs moisture without feeling weighed down. The Banana one feels richer and more nourishing, and the scent is very much “tropical smoothie, but for your head.” Thankfully, it smells lovely rather than overpowering. They are easy to use and versatile, which is a big plus. You can use them as a quick conditioner, a longer hair mask, or a leave-in treatment if your hair is having a particularly dramatic day. After using them, hair feels softer, smoother, and easier to manage, with a bit more shine and less of that dry, straw-like situation. The tubs are generous too, so they feel like good value. A little goes a decent way, unless you are someone who applies hair mask with the enthusiasm of icing a cake. No judgement there. Overall, these are simple, effective, nice-smelling hair treatments that make dry hair feel much happier. The Aloe Vera is the calm, sensible one; the Banana is the cheerful tropical one. Together, they are basically a tiny spa shelf for your bathroom.

Amazing, smells lovely, generally good value to amount of product. Have used it for years. Lasts me ages. Can be used several ways. A little goes a long way. Better applying to mid-ends of hair & brush through. I was it out after using it as a hair mask. Hair always left soft & smelling nice. The only point to mention is Amazon is not always the cheapest compared to other outlets. However I paid for speedy delivery.

I got this hair food because I was looking for something without silicones or proteins that's suitable for low-porosity hair. I got the watermelon one. Even though it's meant for fine hair, I decided to give it a try on my medium hair. It comes in a 400ml tub and smells really nice. I have quite dry hair, and so far I've used it three times as a hair mask (once a week). I apply a generous amount, put on a shower cap, and leave it on for 10–20 minutes before rinsing it out. My hair feels a bit softer and more moisturized afterwards, but it doesn't really do much for my frizz, which is why I'm taking one star off. It rinses out easily and doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down. I'll keep using it, maybe a bit more often, to see if it makes any difference to my frizz over time. Overall, I think it's a good hair mask and I'm happy with it so far.

It smells incredible and has made my hair so soft, I've bought two of them and it works wonders on my curly hair, its definitely going to be my go to hair mask from now on!!

honestly the best hair product i’ve ever used. it’s lasted me almost a year and i use it 2-3 times a week (if i use it more often my hair gets hella greasy), and it leaves my hair smelling amazing, with a shiny bounce, moisturised and healthy. it’s super easy to use and you can actually experiment with it to see what works best for you and your hair health. i use a dollop and run it through my lengths and ends, leave it for half an hour and rinse it out. it leaves my hair so so soft and with virtually zero split ends !! it’s also helped me with wavey, curl and coil definition as well (idk what hair type i have, but i’d say its wavy tipping to curly) definitely worth a buy and try, love love love it !!

This is good stuff. The first time I used it, I used it after shampoo and conditioner as an extra conditioner, and kept on for 3 minutes. My hair felt smooth after, but there wasn’t much of a smell to my hair. The second time I did the same, but I left it on for 5 minutes and put more on. And this time my hair again felt smooth but it also smelt good.I think you do need to put this on generously to see the best results. And it may take a few uses to see a massive difference. I’m not sure I would buy again. The nice smell doesn’t last long and when rinsing it out my hair doesn’t feel smooth. I’ll stick to Aussie hair masks as they seem to give me the best results. I will say, that I had seen a few reviews saying that pots had arrived used. This isn’t the case. These pots are not sealed - there is no protective film. I researched this before buying to check this. So don’t expect a sealed pot!!!

After using it twice I feel my hair got way softer So this is how I use it I put it on my hair before shower like 15 min and than I use it as conditioner you guys its game changing

I love this as a leave in, haven't tried it as a rinse off conditioner but I have no doubt I'm going to love it.
