I opened the bag of sugar last night and used some in a banana wine I'm currently doing a primary fermentation on. First impressions are this has a light brown sugar color and smell. I think this would really work well in a rum if combined with molasses and spice.

It's very good sugar
It is nice raw sugar, I feel it's worth the price. I am trying to get away from refined foods and by the time I go through 50 pounds big sugar, I'm sure I'll continue to stick with raw sugar!

No like natural cane sugar
I was disappointed in the smell and taste of this kind of a bit chemically it did not taste like pure cane sugar to me like it's been treated or something and a bit lighter in color
