what type of buffer pads would be best with this product?

I used a sponge applicator pad and cotton buffer pads

I have a 30 ft. RV.. is the enough to cover that size?

If its not enough, then it's very close. I have a 26 ft. bowrider boat that I used it on and I barely used half of the bottle. Given that there is more surface area on your RV I think you'll be close to running out.

can you apply with a power buffer on plastic casitas trailer?

I have a Casita/17 foot Liberty standard vintage 2010. It is stored outside uncovered from. may thru October.I use this polish with all kinds of Daul Action buffers six inch thru ten inch. I also use an 10" Makita rotary buffer with the polish as well as a Daul Action Cyclo Pro polisher. To answer your question yes you can use all kinds of power buffer with this product. If the gel coat is in chalk conditionI use marine based 3M rubbing compound first then follow up with Meguiars Cleaner polish and top coat with Meguiars Flagship Premium. Final application product is a professional product found on the net: Banana Magic. Good on the Casita as well as your car.

is it safe to use on newer cars?

No, flagship products are made for Marine/Trailer applications with a Gel Coat.
