Does this screen require a blower? Is it made from material like an inflatable?

No it does not need a blower. You pretty much let go of it and it pops up. You just attach the screen like bottom to the screen, attach the poles and your done. It's awesome

Can the screen be bent or folded once inside bag so it will fit in suitcase?

No, it can’t. It only folds in one way and it’s a real pain in the butt.

Will airlines let you bring it onboard? I doubt it would fit into the overhead. Would checking it as baggage destroy it?

I’m not sure. It’s about 30 to 35” in diameter and 3” thick in its bag. I would suggest to be on the safe side pack it in an appropriate size box and ship it to wear your going. At least that way you could get the insurance on it so if it got destroyed you could replace it. It would probably make it on and off the plane but once it got to the destination, the conveyors and baggage claim shoots would give it a run for its money. I wouldn’t risk it .
