Is the back flat enough to use a 3M strip if I removed the suction cup?

sorry not sure what a 3m strip is. please clarify these are cutest things that my kids use for their toothbrushes in the bathroom, we have them stuck on inside the vanity mirror

It's like a hard rubber. I put one up in December and the same one is still up and going strong with heavy use. It's a great toothbrush holder.

Do they hold on, painted walls

These will not hold to a textured painted wall. In order for the suction to work the wall would have to be very smooth. These work very well on our bathroom mirror as toothbrush holders!
