Worked perfect on iMac
I lost my headphone jack option on my iMac. It just quit showing up in the Sound preferences! I had been sending audio out of the iMac via the headphone jack to a Denon receiver with bookshelf speakers. Since that quit working, I tried this cable, running it from a Thunderbolt jack on the iMac, to the same inputs on the receiver I was using. It worked perfectly the first time, and shows up as "USB Audio Adapter" in the Sound preferences. It still shows up in the preferences even when the receiver is off.

Simple connection
Perfect solution for playing music from a laptop to an old school Yamaha receiver. USB mini from laptop to RCA input on the receiver. Wanted an alternative from wireless connection or a DAC box. Stupid simple connection and sounds great! Played around with Bluetooth, sounded blah, then 3.5 mm output from laptop to RCA in on the receiver, sounded just okay but missing quite a bit. This dongle DAC delvers so much more CD quality music. Highly recommend for a simple solution.

It works!
I ordered this to replace another faulty cable. I was concerned that this cable may be faulty too as there was a bit of static noise when I initially plugged in to my headphone amp. Once the music started the static and hum stopped and hasnt been heard since. The Cable itself feels good. Not too stiff. The usb c end fit into my s21+ easily. I did not feel like I had to force it. The rca end connected to the amp like you would expect. I don't get the impression that the cable or the dac chip in the cable are coloring the sound in any way. Everything sounds as it should. I recommend this cable to anyone who wants an inexpensive way to get audio from their usb c port to a receiver, mixer, or amp. Deducted 1 star for latency which renders it pretty useless for watching videos.

Worked for a short time and now is barely able to function. You absolutely cannot touch the cord or phone or it crackles/disconnects.

Impression de qualité. Marche parfaitement. Branché sur vieil ( mais de qualité) ampli audio Yamaha et un IPAD PRO M2. Le câble précédent que j’avais marchait avec un IPhone ( qui a un dac) mais pas avec la tablette. Le dac du câble Cubilux fait bien le job. Son de très bonne qualité, semble meilleur que le dac iPhone .Très satisfait.
