Wilson Tour Slam Adult Recreational Tennis Rackets

I recently started playing Tennis and I needed a racket that was affordable and easy to use. The oversize head generates impressive power and added forgiveness with its enlarged sweet spot, and the open string pattern allows for more power and spin. It was also a nice touch that the racket arrived pre-strung, saving me the hassle of having to do it myself. However, I did notice that the grip size is a bit larger than what I am used to, which has taken some getting used to. It's not a major issue, but it did affect my comfort level when using the racket. It's a great racket with impressive power and forgiveness, but the larger grip size did take some getting used to.

I have to say, I was extremely pleased with this racket. I originally bought it For my boyfriend, as he has been wanting for us to go play tennis. I already have a racket, but after trying this racket out I have decided I am buying myself one as well! It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and I would say it is for beginners/intermediate players. I was genuinely so impressed by the product! 10/10 recommend.

This is my first tennis racket. It's solid and exactly as described. It's lightweight, sturdy easy on the wrists when swinging. The color is vibrant and really nice. Will add to the review when I get to test it or more

Getting back into tennis after a HUGE hiatus and needed a racket shipped next day (game got rained out). Researched and this one seemed the best value choice. I wanted a larger head to make more contact and this is suppose to be a 112, but this doesn't seem that much larger than a 105. Perhaps it's the shape? The photo looked more round and larger, but the shape is standard oval. It feels light but the grip isn't working for me. I thought with such a long break from the sport I was starting from square one. Obviously it's like a bicycle and my muscle memory kicked in. I've always played with a Head racquet because I like the light feel of titanium. I was also off on my grip. I measured my hand and it came up 4 3/8 which I bought and it didn't feel right in my hand. My old racquets were a 2 (4 1/4) with an overwrap and that's what I think I'll get . But this Wilson Slam Lite is a great deal, so I'll keep it to see if my son wants it. He used to play recreational as a child/teen and his last was a Wilson Federer that he can't find between moves from dorm over his college years. If he doesn't want it it will be kept for guests who want to hit balls.

The tennis racket performed very well after playing tennis after a couple hours.

strings broke the second I played with the racket. Not good quality what so ever, feels like a children's toy rather than a tennis racket. Would not recomend this to any one playing competitive tennis, should only be used to play tennis once a year over the park with your gran.

A brilliant beginner’s racquet has a good weight to it without being too heavy. Has a large head to get good contact with the ball. Would highly recommend as a first tennis racquet.
