Easy install, works great
Purchased this product to put on our garage windows, as the sun was reflecting off the window and onto our artificial turf yard causing it to melt (150 degrees+!!). It was super easy to cut and install - I had to reposition and it was no problem pulling it off and smoothing it back out. Cutting excess with a small blade was also super easy - I even did it without a straight edge and it turned out really well. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for my needs!
This worked great for what I needed. I put them on my bay window to give my orchids filtered sun. It was fairly easy to install but it tears easily so be careful. Its sticks well although I can see it coming up at one of the edges.

Works well for reducing heat and still be able to see out
These privacy shades are awesome for reducing the heat from the overhead ports on my sailboat. I have privacy screens like this on my car that have graphics but they were pretty expensive. I was able to cover all my ports with a couple of rolls of this material. They're easy to install and trim. Cutting these in around an object is tricky but I used to install flooring so I have experience. One cool thing I found out is if you overlap them, they make an interesting pattern. ++++++++++++++++++ ABOUT ME: I finally got fed up with the traffic and lack of competing products to choose from when shopping at the local big-box stores so now I do almost all my shopping on Amazon. I recently read Cyber Fraud: The Web of Lies by Brian Seely, about Google Map frauds and have taken to heart that the best way to counter fake reviews is for legitimate customers to post more real reviews. Currently, 100% of my reviews are for products that I paid full price for. In the future, if I some how manage to convince a company to send me something for free, you can rest assured that I won't be changing my opinion of a product based on what I paid for it. I want the best products available and we should all be able to know what they are. If you find this review helpful, witty, charming, absurd, let me know by clicking on one of those buttons right there...no, a little lower, now right...there!

Very difficult to apply without folds and streaks on your window, and no privacy as they state.
This is almost impossible to install on a window. It is very sticky, sticks to itself and rips very easily. If you do get it on your window, you can't avoid unsightly creases and folds and streaks. No possible way to put it on smoothly and cleanly. Also, they state it is a privacy wrap from the outside. I went outside and could see clearly into my bathroom and shower area. I don't understand how they can state it is privacy from the outside when it isn't. Good thing I didn't run around in my birthday suit after installing it on my window -- I would hear my neighbors screaming!

Great way to cut the glare!
I didn't want the solid window tinting and I used something similar to this (only totally static cling instead of sticky) when my son was a baby. I needed larger pieces this time for the larger side windows of our van. I didn't want to piece together the pieces you can get in baby departments so I opted for the roll instead. I loved the option of a white interior! It took me about 15 minutes to "install" one side but I learned a lot so the other side only took about 3-4 minutes! Work slow and carefully. I lined up the top edge and then worked down and out from the center. It can be pulled off the glass to reposition to eliminate wrinkling. I also used a box cutter to trim the side and bottom edges after installing, tucking the film as far in the edge as possible, and then running the cutter on the glass along the crease. It worked great! The adhesive is really good and it can stick on itself but you can pull it apart (carefully) if you haven't really smashed sticky side to sticky side together. You can see through it fine from the driver's seat, although the view out the passenger side is a bit better than the driver's side but that is because of the angle. You can still see through it. I am very happy with the film. Glad to have something to help protect my daughter from the bright sun.

Sticky side is the on the wrong side
I bought this to put on my patio door to give me a little privacy from nosy neighbors, but to allow me to see out. We put it on per the instructions. The problem is that the sticky side is on the black side, so the film has to go on the outside of the window to achieve the privacy needed. The product is over all a fairly good product, but having the sticky side on the black side defeats the purpose of privacy when applying to home windows. Over all, this seems like a decent product, but an improvement would be to put the sticky side on the white side so you can install it inside the house, thus giving it a longer life. It was fairly easy to install, but you will need to buy a kit to install it easily and get all the bubbles out.

Cheap but wrked good . Can see through easily when light is on inside and is getting dark.Apply carefully Marcthe meatman oshawa ontario Cut with excess tape across middle to hold in place. Peel backing down to tape and cut or rip off. . Smooth and flatten toward edges ot too close to backing paper be careful to hold excess from sticking before smoothing remove tape peel rest of backing off smooth all the way to edges cut excess Stuff is sticky but can be pulled back during application. Ill use curtain when total privacy is needed at night

Very difficult to apply - especially on a curved surface like a rear minivan window. Make a template with packaging paper. Cut the film slightly larger than your template. Apply as smoothly as you can and use a heat gun to shrink the bubbled areas that don't want to sit flat on your glass. DIY saves a fortune, but be prepared to live with minor imperfections if you've never applied sticky film before. It's tricky.

Covered my fleet vehicle with this product. Works great and comes in variable sizes, for different size projects/windows. TIP: I used a heat gun and a soft plastic/rubber spatula. Heat softens the film and makes the glue stickier and the spatula allows you to smooth out any air wrinkles. Enjoy!!

The one way view claim is misleading. It acts more like a tinted window, reducing the intensity of the view but not creating true privacy, neither during the day or night. It does work a bit better during the daylight, however.
