I do not want to use a box spring due to height. I was told i could use a tatami mat. Would this really work to put under my full size mattress?

I’ve had mine for about 6 months now using just a Tatami mat - on a hardwood floor. I had for the last couple of years mild back pain because of a really poorly built $2000 Simmons the (ex) wife and I had - for my back a flatter surface did the trick. Have felt great since sleeping on this

Could I put this between a metal bed frame and a cotton futon mattress?

Not recommend to do. The tatami sheet is thin and probably wouldn’t hold well under a futon mattress. It is meant to lay on directly.

Can i use an electric blanket with this futon
