Power, size.
I love this hairdryer !! Not only a low wattage but still a high power drying power. Good for kids AND adults! And Its plug DOES NOT fall out of the socket like certain others do. GREAT!!!

Mighty little hair dryer for RV!
Needed a lower wattage hair dryer for RV and this one fit the bill! Less electrical draw but no compromise on performance! Dries hair like a champ!

Edit: Seller reached out. Updating rating. And I should say that my scalp is on the sensitive side so the heat level of this hair dryer might be fine for you. Especially is you have thicker hair than I do, with less of the heat ever reaching your scalp. But I would still keep it on the lowest setting to make sure not to overheat your hair itself, which can be damaging. ________ I found the lowest heat setting to be too hot for me. I would have to pulse that setting with the cool button every two to three seconds in order to not burn my scalp. It took forever to dry my hair that way. I liked it. It's definitely quiet, and very compact/lightweight. But I ended up going with the Centrix Q-Zone instead to avoid that issue. Disappointed.
