Well… this is a divided household. My horse took one look (and probably one sniff) and decided this was a hard no. Would not drink his water at all if this was in it. Full protest. Zero negotiation. Meanwhile, one of my donkeys is out here like it’s a luxury beverage and happily drinks it with no complaints. So I guess the official review is: depends entirely on who you’re serving. It seems like it does what it’s supposed to in terms of flavoring and encouraging hydration… if your animal is into it. Just be aware that not everyone in the barn may agree, and you might end up making a special plain-water version for the more opinionated members of your crew. We’ll finish the bucket thanks to the donkey, but the horse has made his stance very clear.

I ordered peppermint as you can see and I received rutbeer which my horse would not touch !!!!!!

We have an older horse who “forgets” to drink enough. The water is filtered and is very drinkable. The younger horses, no problem. Adding just a handful of this apparently delicious quench causes normal water consumption over night (5 gallons for this particular furry beast). It’s a life saver. We use sparingly several times a week.
