If you love retro, don't hesitate! I am very happy with the style and the quality of this make up case. I was at first disappointed when I saw the mirror was crooked, but it's just attached with velcro. It can be removed and used on a table for applying your beauty items.

I love my make up case / storage box. I have an old case like it that I bought in 1977 and I still use it. But I wanted a new one since the hinges on my old case are not looking so good any more. This new one looks fancier than my old one and very sturdy. I have been looking for years for a case just like this. Most cases are soft sided or have harmonica shelves in them if they are hard sided.

I have been searching for a long time for a new piece of luggage to replace my VERY OLD cosmetic train case, and this is the perfect updated version for me. Although I don't use it for airline travel, it is indispensable for our long road trips in the car, along with the numerous back-and-forth trips to the summer cabin. The size, weight and sturdiness are similar to the traditional train case, I love the navy blue color, and it is roomy enough for all my toiletry items!
