Old-fashioned magical leather diary
I simply loved the beautiful look and smooth feel of this journal book. And the smell of leather. The journal has a series of blank booklets stuck on the inner spine. Will update this review as I use the pages to let you know if it stays. It is handy to keep in your handbag and jot the odd creative notes of inspiration or ideas and better than the corporate diaries (must confess I have a weakness for Harry Potter and The Spiderwick Chronicles type of movies - so love this book.).

Only sketching
It's really good, I totally recommend it. Its really good for sketching only and its not made for painting or markers.

dosn't look remotly as advertised
the outer edges of the cover isn't sewn. the dragons look dopey and bit of them are off the cover. the paper itself is decent, but the binding of the pages is to the cover. normally the paper would be bound separately to prevent book from falling apart. hopefully that doesnt happen

Petit carnet achetée pour le départ d'une amie de notre travail. C'est original la couverture est superbe, les pages ont un style ancien un peu vieilli bref l'ensemble est vraiment sympa. Nos collègues ont de suite adhérer à l'originalité du carnet et du concept qui change de l'éternel carte un peu cliché ! C'est plus sympa à garder dans le temps :) Je recommande vivement ce carnet. If you want a large art book, you should not purchase this. The dimensions are in the description. But for what I want it for, it is good value for what I paid for it. Nice, nice front and back cover. Tooled leather design is beautiful and tough enough to withstand time. Maybe not as many pages as people would like, but this will make a great gift for a traveller/artist buddy of mine, as she can tuck it in her purse.
