Can you put a hoopskirt under?

I bought this for that exact reason! This crinoline doesn't have a lot of poof so it acts like a slip so you don't see the hoop boning through your dress. Over a 6hoop ballgown hoopskirt this crinoline doesn't reach the floor. However, it does make it so you don't see any boning through it. Even the parts where it doesn't reach. I say go ahead and buy it as a slip to cover the boning, but don't expect any more poof. I'd also get the largest size if you're getting it to go over a hoop.

Do I need to order a longer dress if I purchase this ?

This start is long almost floor length so you will need a long dress

I’m a 3x clothing size. What slip size would work? Not sure how it sizes.

I also ordered a 4x because I wear from a 2X to a 3X in some clothes. And I wasn’t sure either? 4X is big and I should have ordered a 3X. It is true to size.

Wedding dresses run kind of small. I suggest you order a medium. I ordered the large and I wear everyday clothes size 16. Formal Wear I always wear an 18. This under skirt seems to be sized generously
