Takaokaya 100% Japanese Brown Rice Tea with Matcha Powder (Shizuoka Matcha Genmaicha / Matcha Iri) in 4.36oz (124g) pack. (64 tea bag/ bag) Product of Japan. Review: BEST VALUE (tastes GREAT, you can't Beat The PRICE with a STICK!!!) REAL Japan Sourced Tea and Rice - I am sure there are Better Tasting GENMAI CHA made from JAPAN Sourced Tea and Rice, but you will PAY A LOT MORE for it, and imho, I am VERY HAPPY with this version... even if it is Packed In LOS ANGELES, CA... I don't care... the QUALITY, PRICE, AVAILABILITY, 2-day desertcart DELIVERY, and END RESULTS are GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. This is my 4th Order now, and I can STILL TASTE THE SAME QUALITY I wanted and experienced from The FIRST TIME I tried this. "Masuda-en Tea Farm, in SHIZUOKA Province, Japan, a famous Tea Farming Region where MOST of the TEA from Japan is Produced and Shipped Overseas". You can tell from the PHOTO, showing Mt. Fuji in the distance, this is taken on HONSHU, where SHIZUOKA Prefecture is located. Japan only produces about 90 Million Tons of the World's TEA... Mainland China produces over +100Billion Tons of the World's TEA, but it also has much more incidents of FRAUD and VERY POOR QUALITY too. AND, Japan uses almost 100% MACHINE AUTOMATED PROCESSING of their Tea, so the Variability is almost ZERO, and the QUALITY and STANDARDS are almost 100%... with virtually ALL MACHINES doing the Tea Processing... including Measuring, Bagging, Sealing, and BOX'ing of the FINAL PRODUCT. COMPUTERS CONTROL JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING in JAPAN. CHINA still does MOST of it's Tea Processing MANUALLY... subject to BIG VARIATIONS in QA and Results... you MIGHT GET GOOD TEA, and you MIGHT NOT... it's The ROLL OF THE DICE... depending on HUMAN Hands. So, just be aware of that!!! I am NOT saying CHINA cannot produce GREAT TEA's.. they CAN and DO... but what are the changes of YOU getting one? It is MUCH LESS than getting it from JAPAN. This TAKAOKAYA Genmai-Cha Tea is an excellent example of that. I cannot detect ANY Variations in ANYTHING about this item... including the MACHINE SEALING of the Package. And the actual Genmai-Cha Tea is to DIE FOR!!! Sign Me UP... !!! v/r, "The TEA Spectator" Review: Finally found it! - Finaly found this tea in desertcart. I am no longer able to find this tea in the Asian grocery so I decided to look in desertcart. This tea has matcha and japanese brown rice flavor which gives a wonderful aroma and I find is much better than just the regular green tea. Will definitely order again.

Good packaging, good price, good taste.
Packaging keeps tea well. Price for quantity is fair. The tea itself has a rather strong taste but it isn't very bitter and it rather pleasant.
