Possibly Defective
While this product has a great price, the price is offset by the fact that it did not work. I tracked down information that indicated that it should have worked for Linux. I loaded the proper drivers; tested it on different Linux "flavors" (Ubuntu 14.04 & Mint 17.3); also tried it on a Raspberry Pi; all of these without success. After spending more than 12 hours searching for solutions and making attempts, I finally gave up. I suspect that even though I could identify that the device was plugged in and showed its ID number, it was defective. I am returning it.

Handle with Care
I used this adapter for a week and it worked fine. And then I accidentally bumped into it (not hard at all) and the whole thing fell apart! This is not a sturdy piece of equipment to say the least! If you are not using it while mobile, then it should be fine. But if you are using it in a laptop, I would NOT recommend this.

Only worked for one week. Total crap. But I will give it one thing when it worked it worked great...Look for a different USB Dual Band.

Absolute disappointment. Does not work well with Mac running Capitan. Keeps dropping out of WiFi. Will be returning to seller

Great little adapter with great signal
The HONGSEOK AC600 Dual Band Wifi Adapter is just what I was looking for. I had an old Netgear Wireless USB adapter and it kept disconnecting on me and the connection was very sub-par. This new adapter just plugged right in and was ready to go. Much easier than installing drivers and such. I am on Windows 10 currently. The biggest thing for me is the connection stability. I have a few walls between my router and wifi signal so it’s not always the best. This one is always connected. I think over time that the signal strength worsens, but time will tell. I highly recommend this little adapter becuase it has great signal.Pros:* Compact size & portable mini size design* It support Wi-Fi Speed up to 600Mbps and it comes with 2.4Ghz and 5GHz bands* It has good signal with 5dBi high gain external antennaCons:* None so far. Good item
This comes in a box with instructions and a disc. This is easy to install you just put the disc in and fallow directions. This will help with the connectivity of your wifi. Makes it run a faster. I noticed that I have less buffering when watching Netflix with this. This would make a great gift for a student. They could get better internet in class where a lot of people are on same wifi. It is compact in size so easy storage. I like that it can go flat for storage,and still bend as needed. Good item to have on hand. I received this product for free for an honest review.
