My Bouvier des Flandres loves these balls.
This ball style has been my Bouv's favorite. I purchase the large one because I don't want any choking hazards. It doesn't take him long to destroy the plastic ball inside the ball. Then the ball becomes a great tossing ball. Gentle on my dogs mouth, they have lasted longer than most balls we've tried. He will amuse himself with the ball and goes to get them to play. He knows he has to bring his toys inside when done playing and they are easy for him to find. He can easily destroy the ball within minutes so if you have a destructive dog this might not be the ball for your dog. However, saying that, if you spend the time to train your dog not to destroy the ball it will last years. How we trained him after he destroyed the first two balls was when we were done playing ball with him, the balls were taken from him and stored out of reach. If while playing ball he started to chew instead of retrieving he was told 'no' and the ball removed before being destroyed. If he continued to play catch without reverting to chewing we kept playing. If he laid down to chew again, we took the ball away until the next game of catch. It didn't take him long to figure out we didn't want him destroying the balls. They are now left in his toy box and he goes and gets them when he wants us to play with him. We've had several through his life,..and I'm ordering more to make sure I have them throughout his life. He isn't perfect he will still chew through one at least once a year or so. We still feel he deserves them and feel we are getting lots of bang for our buck.

Crackle Ball
Mein Hund liebt diesen Ball, das Innere wird zwar zusammen gedrückt aber das macht nichts. Ist eines ihrer Lieblings Bälle.

The dogs like it very much, it produces a lot of noise.
I’m rating this based on my dogs’ response to this toy – they absolutely love it, and it has seen more use without damage than any of their regular throwing toys. At the same time, unless you enjoy, REALLY ENJOY the sound of crunching water bottles, you may not like having this ball in the house. Pros: The rubber outer shell of the ball is durable, and can survive both chewing and pulling forces (as a note, my dogs do not concentrate on chewing - they use it more for play games). It’s big enough for my dogs to play tug of war with it, hooking their teeth in the mesh, and they since it bounces around if they drop or kick it, it makes the game more interesting than rope. They did crush the interior plastic, but they don't really seem to care. It’s much more engaging than a normal ball, and can be modified to hold treats, sticks, rope elements and other external bits, which my shepherd mix loves; he gets bored easily and frequently, and this can actually entertain him. Cons: This toy is loud, and produces repetitive crunching sounds. It is apparently really engaging to chew, and my dogs will produce the horrid plastic crackling up to half an hour at a time. If you let your dogs in and out, it would make a fine outdoor toy, but since I have a dog door, it migrates around to pretty much wherever the dogs are. I kind of hate it, but will probably buy another if they break this one since they enjoy it so much.

Lovvvvved this ball, at first.
The surface was soft, so even though it made a heck of a noise, it was safe to throw in the house. My dog loved this ball!! We had many hours of entertainment. Until someone threw it high in tje air and it landed on pavement. The inner plastic (what makes all the noise) condensed due to the impact, and never made noise again. I tried to remove the in er plastic since the dog could now chew it and I didn’t want pieces of plastic coming out - but, it’s was impossible to remove and just keep the outer silicone skeleton. So, the while thing went into the garbage. Do buy it. It’s fun for everyone. Do not let it impact the ground hard.
