We tested this product on a variety of fabrics and even card board. We then used a torch to try to set them on fire. (We had matching pieces that were not sprayed.) The sprayed samples did not catch fire! Some darkened , some scorched, some melted. But none of them caught fire and all had significantly less damage than the non sprayed samples. Leaves a bit of a film. Recommend you use a mask when spraying and don't use on items you will wear or covered by.

I used this on a set of PU leather lower leg fairings on my Harley. I’ve not experienced any problems due to heat. Great product. It is tacky, so use gloves when applying and wiping.

The coverage was good. However, since it’s a chemical it has a terrible odor. I left my cloth outside for 24 hours to see if that would air it out and the worked. No more bad smell.

Purchased this due to fabric has to be sprayed for classroom use. I thought it was a little bit pricey, but I had to have it. The size was typical.

Got this to use on some nylon for my work boots and well... My boots remained unburned! Spray worked as expected and I even tried catching the nylon on fire after I sprayed my boots with the product and they lived HAHA! Would recommend for those needing to fire-proof something small.

The spray bottle makes it easy to apply and the price is fair for the amount included. I can't comment on the effectiveness until we experience a fire. I used it on a small section of wood fence adjacent to our house. I'm hopeful that I never have to find out how effective it is!

Arrived in a timely manner. Package was delivered securely without damage. Easy to use spray. I used it for chairs around camp fire. Not sure it would stand up to direct fire for extended time.

I can see why it is mandatorily used in so many public buildings.
