Logic Tangram Set with Play Cards Wooden Puzzle Game

It’s a lot more difficult than it seems on the surface

I love the quality of this product! I used this as a communication activity at the start of my high school classes. The kids loved it!

The wood work of this game and its case is just amazing! For that alone I love this game, but the challenges this game offers are so much fun! Great game to race someone with puttling the picture together. There are two sets of pieces in this set so you don't have to play alone.

I love this product very much. The craftsmanship is wonderful. I love that it's wooden. The pieces are cut precisely and I appreciate that. The whole look of the game is wonderful. Simple and dare I say elegant. Please don't add any tweaks to it it would ruin the simplicity of it which is part of its beauty. The cards have a little space around them making them easy to get out. Should you have any trouble with them, simply place your hand over the blocks place your other hand above the pack of cards and turn the set over the cards fall right out into your hand. Also, the pieces should fit snugly in their containers so they don't rattle around; I really appreciate that. I also appreciate that the square is the first design in the card deck so you can simply use it as a guide should you forget how to form the square to put the game together in its box again. Very easy to do. It's such a fun game to play either alone or with another. It's a lot more difficult than it appears but it's so satisfying when you get one right. It definitely starts to shift how you look at things. That alone is worth the price of the game. I think it helps stimulate the mind and helps one to learn to think a little more geometrically. It's a great puzzle game and I would recommend it for anyone. And I would recommend this particular set especially if you are a beginner. This may sound dumb, but I don't think it would be half as much fun if the pieces were plastic; so I definitely recommend this company for its superior design and quality of the game. The only thing I would recommend is going back to having the card be black with a white silhouette for the side that you work on creating the shape of, and then the other side can be white with the solution. Again, I was very disappointed in that aspect; that's the only fault I found in it. Highly recommend this game and company.

Most tangram sets look more like toys than puzzles, gimmicky or otherwise unimpressive. I wanted to find something that had a bit of material substance for a family that's into diverse education for their little geniuses. This tangram set ticks all the boxes, and comes in a nice one as well. The printed card that's shrink-wrapped onto the exterior is poorly designed, so we removed that before wrapping.If you're from Thailand, you'll recognize the style of craftsmanship in the wooden-pin hinge and lid on the box. Funny thing is, the family we're gifting it to is part Thai, so that's a nice bonus. : )

This double set for head to head play looks great on your coffee table and is a fun diversion for kids both old and young. Definitely recommend this over a plastic set.
