Are you sure the Watts you quoted is correct? 780w at 12V is 65Amps. I doubt this bar needs that. Its probably an equivalent to halogen light level. Check the actual current this draws. Then text me back. I see other users use a 30Amp fuse. So im pretty sure this kit will be fine

Why does my light bar sometimes stay on and not shut off?

You have it wired wrong, use ignition power, so when car/truck is off the light bar turns off 100% of the time.

The lights will not go out. Even disconnection swith will not turn lights off (have to pull fuse). T

I would check the connections on the relay itself if it’s wired backwards it can keep the power on all the time

Trying to understand the wires that go to the rocker switch, is black for ground ( - ), red for battery (+), and white?

Coming out of the relay are 3 sets of 2 lead wires, ..2 black (ground, attach these to the top left and right of the back side of the switch # 7,8), then 2 red, Positive,one will go to the single middle connector, #2. Now here’s your choice, if you want the face of the switch to light up even when the switch is “off”, hook up the other red lead to # 6 on the bottom right. If you don’t want the switch to always light up when “off”, then hook up the white 2 leads to #3 &6. Wrap electrical tape around the extra wire, either red or white, that’s not connected according to your choice. Hope this helps.

Nice wire kit

Used this wire kit for my light bar on my SXS and it worked perfect. Used these kits for multi different ATVs over the years for light bars and they are just easier and cheaper than trying to buy the parts and pieces for the wiring and switch.
