No, It may take a little sprinkle of rain but I wouldn't get it wet.

Does anyone know the warranty?

I just looked at mine brand new still in the box, I can not find any info on a warranty of any kind, sorry.

Will this receiver run from an esc supporting "bec" (battery elimination circuitry), or to i have to run a seperate receiver battery?

Yes. Thats exactly why there is a BEC on the ESC, so you dont need a 6V battery for the receiver.

What gauge is the wire on the receiver?

The wires to and from the receiver are basically signal wires. Since they carry no amperage the wire size is probably less than 20 gauge.

Ok i wish i had got the more expensive one, but this controller is off the hook. One of the best entry level set ups. When in a pinch build this is a must. But if your wanting a little more this receiver works on a few controllers so intrested to see what this compony has to offer. This is the lowest best bang for buck set.
