Durable hiking socks!
I’ve been really impressed with these socks! I wore them in a cold environment while walking over 10,000 steps a day for two months, rotating between pairs, and they held up incredibly well. There’s been no noticeable wear, thinning, or issues at all. They kept my feet warm without overheating and were comfortable all day long—no bunching or slipping. You can tell they’re high quality and built to last. I’d definitely recommend these to anyone looking for durable, reliable hiking socks!

Great hiking socks!
Great hiking socks. I have both the ankle and crew length lightweight socks that I love for summer hiking in Southern California, but wanted something a little thicker for upcoming cold weather/ mountain hiking in the Sierras. These are great socks. Slightly thicker with slightly more cushioning than the light weight socks, but definitely not bulky like a heavy winter sock. My feet still fit great in my standard sized boots. I tried them out an a 7 mile hike in low 60s through mid 70s temps. My feet felt great, no hot spots or sliding around. The extra cushioning over the light weight socks was nice to have. And best of all, my feet did not feel overheated or sweaty even at these temps. The socks are quality and a bargain at the price. So far I have three sets of different hiking socks from this company and they are all top notch socks.

Super socks
These are very soft, warm, have nice elastic fit around ankle, breathe very well and overall are great socks. They replace some very expensive merino wool socks and I feel that these are not a step down at all. Highly recommend. Runs a tad large.

These run very small!
I have these socks, in large, in both dark grey and black—but as much as I like them, they are tight, and have been since brand new. Almost uncomfortably so—and I wear size 9 1/2 shoes for the most part, so "large" socks usually fit just fine. It seems like these light grey socks are the only ones being sold in "extra large" which is a shame. These fit me like I expect a pair of "large" socks to—they are not loose in the least, but very comfortable. As with the other colors, I really like the overall light weight, and limited padding that these offer. They wick well. If the fit were correct I would give them a very solid 5 stars. I'm surprised that I don't see this commented on in other reviews. My advice would be that you should order a size up, if available. They are very nice, lighter weight marino wool content socks.

Nice, but Inconsistent Material & Sizing
I liked the first 3-pack of these socks I bought (light grey, large), so bought more. Did not like the second set! Tried one last time, but third set still "not quite right", so sending them back. Too bad, but if the manufacturing of these socks were consistent I'd give them five stars. The first set were warm and comfortable, a nice intermediate-weight sock to wear for cool days and light hiking (I'd probably want something thicker for below-freezing weather and/or heavy-duty hiking, skiing, motorcycling, etc.). They remained comfortable all day and didn't leave a ring around my calf when I took them off. The second set--supposedly the same style, size, etc.--felt much tighter going over my foot and definitely left a calf-ring at the end of the day. The material also felt coarser. The third set--again same style & size--felt somewhat better than the second, but still a bit tighter and coarser than the first. As the photo shows, there are visible differences between the three sets of socks, indicating whatever factory (or factories?) make them, the materials and construction vary between runs. Note that they all have a red dash on the interior of the elastic cuff. The first dash is the largest and widest, the second the smallest and narrowest, and the third somewhere in between. Is this red dash a "Comfort Indicator"??? I don't know if that was the plan, but that is the reality I've experienced. Looking closely, there are slight differences in the weave (which may, along with differing fabric compositions, account for their different feels). And the three sets have varying cuff widths, with the third being the widest (they're also slightly longer than the other two), making them more comfortable than the second set, but still not equal to the first set, which are the softest and stretchiest. Bottom line: These socks have five-star potential (first set), but I can only give three stars due to their inconsistency.

Solid active wear socks
Love these socks. I am 4’9” and use the Small size. I’ve had these for about 2 years from a previous order. Great for hiking and going to the gym. I have a dry skin type but when I sweat, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable at all. Snug as a bug. Great for winter and breathable for the summer! At least for me the odor isn’t bad after intensive hiked or the gym. Great quality for the price in my opinion!

This brand cannot be beat
I have 100s of pairs of socks, I used to be a “sock guy,” like a collector. But somewhere along the line I started hiking more and I found that now I’m only happy with wool socks, more specifically merino. These Danish Endurance socks are a great brand- good temperature regulation, never saggy, technical enough but they don’t look like I think I’m Bear Gryls. Great for every day up to probably a 15 mile hiking day. Wool does not bother me, but these are particularly soft and they also have the added benefit of neutralizing odor. Seriously, if you’re still using cotton socks, that’s fine for the office, but if you’re going to be doing anything athletic, Marino wool is the way to go and these socks are great for the price.

A great brand that seems to have missed the mark on these.
3 issues: A. I got 2 pairs instead of 3. Amazon was kind enough to compensate me, but the packaging was really disappointing. The parcel was pretty much half open when I got it. B. The fabric is peeling more than I expected. Any kind of debree/small weeds or anything else gets lodged into the sock and takes a chunk with it when removed. C. They're not too stable and tend to slide around your foot more than other socks I've tried, even from the same brand. Pros: They're comfortable, breathable, and don't start to smell too quickly.

The Gold Standard for UK Hiking - No Blisters!
I’ve put these Danish Endurance socks through their paces in various conditions, and they are easily the best value Merino socks on the market. COMFORT & FIT: The targeted cushioning on the heel and toe is perfect for long-distance days. They provide that "snug" feeling without being too tight, and the ventilation lanes actually work to keep your feet from overheating. PERFORMANCE: The Merino wool blend is excellent for moisture-wicking. Even after a full day on the trail, my feet stay dry and—most importantly—blister-free. They also handle the "stink test" very well, which is essential for multi-day wild camping trips. DURABILITY: Unlike some cheaper hiking socks that go thin after two washes, these maintain their shape and loft. They feel like a premium product at a fraction of the "big brand" price. PROS: + Excellent moisture management (Merino blend) + Targeted cushioning in high-impact areas + Durable and hold their shape well + Great value for a multi-pack CONS: - Make sure to follow the washing instructions (cool wash) to keep the wool in top condition. VERDICT: If you’re serious about hiking, don't skimp on your socks. These are reliable, comfortable, and built to last. A 5-star essential for any rucksack.
