Jebao Submersible Aquarium Color Lights & Water Fountain Pump PP-333LV

THIS DOES WORK ON DRINKWELL PLATINUM: I spent a lot of effort to determine if this pump would work on my Drinkwell Platinum fountain. I couldn't find where it definitively does. Some said yes, some said no. It does. No issues lining up the pump outlet to the waterfall top piece of the fountain. The dial flow adjuster can be taken off the extended arm flow adjuster that came with the original pump that had died can be popped into it's place. It looks identical to the stock pump with the exception of the extra wire and light coming out of the bottom of the pump.I placed the light directly under the clear water reservoir and the light shine's through it and add's some ambiance to an otherwise boring pet water fountain. The water fountain is now 'Cool!': directly from my 3 yr old's mouth. The cat's took a few days to get used the light show, but making sure all the toilet lids were down for a few days and no other source of water fixed that issue.

This was disappointing. First, the wire that connects the light is too short to allow any real positioning of the light. And one of the bulbs did not work. I would send it back, but it would cost more than $10.00 to make the trip to a return center. It would be a waste of time for very little. I'll re-order from a different seller.

The pump works well. It is very small and easy to work with. Unfortunately it wasn't quite powerful enough for me but that was mainly my error. Good pump and fast shipping!

This pump worked for about 10 months. Actually, the pump is still going, but the lights died after 10 months. I can't complain about the pump, it's quiet and a good strength. Bummed about the lights though.

I bought this pump for a new fountain I was making in my dining room. I put the pump and lights in this bowl, Shiraleah Large Turquoise Polished Alabaster Squared Bowl, which measures 11.5" x 11.5" x 5.5"--in other words, it's quite large (wide and deep). I attached a short piece of this clear tubing, Watts SVHF20 Pre-Cut Clear Vinyl Tubing, standing straight up from the pump. After adding clear glass stones and water, I fired up the pump. Wow! I wasn't expecting it to be as powerful as it was. Water was splashing everywhere. Of course, adjusting its flow control valve solved that problem.The new fountain looked nice, but I quickly realized that I'd prefer it in a clear bowl, where the colored lights would be more visible from the outside, so I disassembled everything and recreated it in a large, clear, glass bowl. Now I'm really happy. The alternating colored lights give the water and the clear glass stones a lovely glow. When the room is dim enough, the lights also make a wonderful, colorful display on the walls and ceiling. The lights combined with the sound and movement of the water are delightful and soothing.The pump comes with a small, removable adapter for its outlet connection so you can use more than one size of tubing. The tubing I attached measures 7/16" OD (outer diameter) x 5/16" ID (inner diameter) and is a perfect fit.I love this pump and highly recommend it.

I must agree with the first person who commented on this item. It truly is PERFECT for small to medium tabletop fountains. It is very small but packs plenty of power! Both the pump and the light are submersible, and the light is beautful buried under colored marbles. With the pump circulating the water, it makes a very nice reflection on the ceiling. The water-flow seems to be the same strength as larger pumps, and its so easy to tuck out of sight.Great price, Wonderful item, and quick shipping. Highly recommended. I am also ordering more for 2 other fountains as soon as I've posted this review! :D

Lights were purchased to be used in a landscape light house that used water flow to fill the top light viewing window. The water flow also trickled back to a catch basin to provide water fall activity. The lights were used to replace a light set that came with the lighthouse. When initially installed the lights worked fine but only lasted a short while. The original lights, that were replaced, had been functioning for about 4 years.

I have an older fountain, and it wasn't easy to find a new pump. I had to use some teflon tape inside, and black plastic tape outside, for the connection between this pump and the water tubing on the back of the pump. But it's still working fine after a couple years.
