I bought this as a second airfryer, for its large capacity and ease of use. The tray is huge - I fitted a 1.7kg chicken in, which cooked perfectly in just 1 hour. The 2 knobs for control are so much easier than the pre-programmed options on my other airfryer, which I never used anyway. It appears well made, and the non-stick lining cleans up very easily. A bonus is that it's really quiet in operation too, and very good value as well.

This is my 5th Airfryer over quite a few years. They all, except the one before this have been used to within an inch of their life. Least said about my opinion of a 2 drawer stacker is for the best. The Uten 5.5 ltr is just fabulous, not too small as I thought it may be, the one 2 prior to this was a 7.5 I had for 5 years. The basket is more shallow but has a greater surface area which means you can actually cook more in it. It has a proper basket with a handle for the food to cook in which makes it much easier for turning or shaking items, you are only shaking a light weight basket not the whole quite heavy compartment of the machine. The machine itself is the best I have ever had for ease of cleaning, hot soapy water to soak and a quick rinse and dry, job done. For the cost of £39.99 (cheaper this blk Friday week) it is a great buy. I may have to buy another and stash it away for when the current one gives up. 10/10. The stackable was £100 and I persevered for about 3 weeks and gave it to a family member who in turn gave it to someone else. Never again!

Looks great with stainless steel decor. Medium sound from air fryer motor; control knobs better than fiddly touch controls, but that's my opinion only. I can only say that, although only just installed, it's a good item. This fryer is larger than my previous and although the drawer action is very smooth, after installing food to be cooked you can certainly feel the weight straining your wrist... I wonder if people with light strength capabilities may well struggle here. --It seems that with air fryers, as the capacity increases, so does the weight of the drawer! As a final note, it's super value at just £32.00 or so. BUT: I do prefer the lighter drawer on my other less capacious fryer....

I bought a horrible airfryer a few days ago. It was useless, slow, didn't heat correctly, and was all around a pain to work with. It was also much smaller than I expected. I sent it back the following day because it LITERALLY DIDN'T WORK and took over an hour to cook about 100 grams of chips, and I ended up eating them partially raw. Now, THIS beautiful creature ... oh yes. I bought it just before returning the other garbage chunk. I saw the reviews and they looked nice. This is exactly what I expected from an air fryer. It came with detailed instructions, RECIPES!!!!! And was ready to use right out of the box. It only takes three minutes to prehead, and I could smell my garlic-infused oil in less than a minute during the preheat. The instructions say that pre-made frozen foods should be put in at 70 degrees less than they say for an oven, and they should be in for half the time. I put in my 200C 12 minute frozen mini pizza at 130 for six minutes and it came out PERFECTLY! This is what I wanted. This is what I expected. This is an air fryer. What more can I say? IT DOES THE JOB. However, there's one fault The timer and the temperature gauge have terrible markings. They're mostly indicated by little lines/dots, and it's almost impossible to line up the dial with the dot unless you squat down and squint to see if it's lined up correctly. On the plus side, it turns off when the timer runs out! I was desparate to pee while making the pizza but I was afraid to leave in case the timer ran out while I was gone, and the pizza overcooked. But then I remembered...it turns off when the food is done! I could pee, and when I came back, the fryer was off and the pizza was perfect. SO useful for forgetful people and people who drink waaaay too much water.

As this was my first air fryer I didn't want to spend over the top for something I may not like, but also have something that wouldn't break in 2 minutes. And I am really impressed with this unit. So easy to Clean, so easy to use and the cooking itself comes out amazing. I would give it 5 star but for one thing and this is just my personal view, and that's the timer can be awkward if you are trying to cook only 2 - 3 minutes in the fryer, you have to set the dial higher, if you just set for 2 minutes it closes off before the time is up. But I can live with that, and please don't let that put you off buying for the first time, its a great unit. **Update** So, butter fingers dropped and damaged the basket to the point it would not hold onto the base, nothing to do with the build of the device, and to be honest after dropping it 3 times, it was still working, so credit for that. I decided to upgrade to the digital unit and the extra cost is well worth the money. From my initial review I said the only thing that let it down was the timer. Well now I have my wish and it has made the product, for me, complete. I do have a different make of air fryer as well as the Uten, which is from a better know brand, but my go to air fryer is still the Uten. For me this is because of the size and shape of the basket, where the other air fryer is more rounded, the Uten being squarer gives more flexibility to what you can put into the basket, even though both are 5.5L.
