This is the second Air Fryer I have purchased. My first one had all the buttons and pre-set settings. This product is very basic. But that's the beauty of this air fryer, its so easy to use. Once you familiarise yourself with temperatures and times your well away. It cooks perfectly. I've done some amazing roast potatoes, great for doing a quick bacon sandwich etc. It has a really good size tray. I use this almost everyday, and no problems, my last air fryer soon stopped working and the touch sensitive buttons didn't respond. This air fryer has good sturdy dials that turn and work! This cleans up amazingly well, in fact its still like new, I learnt from my old air fryer to put a sheet of foil on the bottom tray, but this air fryer cleans so well with a warn sponge its a dream, It looks like the head of a Robot from a 1950's Sci Fi B movie, so quite Retro looking, and looks good in my kitchen. Arrived on time, neatly packaged and all that stuff!! all in all its 100% for value, nice and sturdy, used by all the family (4 teenage boys). defiantly would recommend.

Solidly made & so simple to operate, no need for loads of buttons that nobody ever uses or touch buttons that don't work with dry fingers or stop working after a year. Don't under-estimate the advantages of a square inner basket, it's a godsend; you can fit so much more than a round one of the same size in litres. Plenty powerful at 1700w, it cooks much faster then my old asda 1250w cheapie air fryer. The inner basket separates easily for dishing up chips & for cleaning. The inner non-stick coating is excellent. Dare I say it even looks great with its lovely brushed stainless steel front & a textured finish on the plastic side panels. Another advantage of a manual air fryer is when you pull out the tray to check how it's going....just push the tray back in to restart, rather than having to podge a restart button on some of the digital ones. This one is just a tadge noisier then my old fryer, but not overly so & I for the price paid it's an absolute bargain for its size, looks and performance.**Update 10 months later - with almost daily usage, the plastic timer knob fractured where it turns the metal shaft of the mechanical timer. There is a fair amount of force required to set the timer & I think over time and heat cycles, the plastic becomes brittle and eventually the knob broke. The plastic knob has a cutout that mates to a horizontal metal pin; it was inevitable that it would fail sooner or later & is a materials design problem (or built-in obsolescence?). Unable to obtain a new knob or a partial refund to repair it myself, so a full refund was the only option. sad for it to go to landfill as the air fryer itself still worked brilliantly. Very good Amazon customer service providing a returns label & refund**

As this was my first air fryer I didn't want to spend over the top for something I may not like, but also have something that wouldn't break in 2 minutes.And I am really impressed with this unit. So easy to Clean, so easy to use and the cooking itself comes out amazing. I would give it 5 star but for one thing and this is just my personal view, and that's the timer can be awkward if you are trying to cook only 2 - 3 minutes in the fryer, you have to set the dial higher, if you just set for 2 minutes it closes off before the time is up. But I can live with that, and please don't let that put you off buying for the first time, its a great unit.**Update**So, butter fingers dropped and damaged the basket to the point it would not hold onto the base, nothing to do with the build of the device, and to be honest after dropping it 3 times, it was still working, so credit for that.I decided to upgrade to the digital unit and the extra cost is well worth the money. From my initial review I said the only thing that let it down was the timer. Well now I have my wish and it has made the product, for me, complete. I do have a different make of air fryer as well as the Uten, which is from a better know brand, but my go to air fryer is still the Uten. For me this is because of the size and shape of the basket, where the other air fryer is more rounded, the Uten being squarer gives more flexibility to what you can put into the basket, even though both are 5.5L.

I’ve had my air fryer for 6 months now.The positives :It heats up in a couple of minutes.All food tastes better, meat and fish are more succulent and potatoes are crisper. Roasted veg tastes amazing.It’s motivated me to cook most things from scratch now as it’s just so easy and tasty.Food cooks much quicker, about 30% less time.It’s quiet, you can hear the fan but it’s quieter than my main oven.The non stick has remained in good condition, no flaking.The negatives:The basket is fiddly to clean as it has vents around the basket which are at an angle so you have to get right in each vent to clean them, it’s easier if cleaned after every use.Like all air fryers, it’s deep, good for a large item to cook like a joint of meet, but you are restricted on how much you can cook in one go.It’s adequate for 1 or 2 people, there are 3 or 4 in my household so I have to cook items separately and reheat, it’s doable but takes longer, I have just ordered a mesh tray to allow more cooking space but really, I wish I had a larger model.I am overall impressed with my air fryer, it’s so much better than oven cooking.

Great air fryer! It cooks evenly, and I love how easy it is to clean—just a quick wipe-down, and it's good to go. The size is decent, and it works efficiently, making meals super convenient. My only wish is that it had two bins instead of one, as that would make cooking multiple things at once even easier.Overall, it's a fantastic air fryer that does the job well, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable kitchen gadget!

Efficient and simple air fryer which is consistent and produces the same results every time. Great product and real value for money.
