This is a great value, works well out of the box, has a high degree of configurability for a wide variety of applications, battery types, and calibrations. In my case it use it to monitor a deep cell battery that I use as a short term emergency power backup (in combination with a pure sine wave inverter). Quick way to check and see when I need to recharge the battery in between uses, and to keep tabs on power remaining during use. It can be set for your specific battery type (SLA, AGM, Gel) and has a built-in thermistor to keep tabs on temperature (which affects percentage charge calculation). The thermistor is not inside the module but out on it's own remote wire so that it can be strategically placed on the battery/power-source. For camping, boat, emergency power, solar, and other battery power applications, you'll want to have one of these. The programming instructions have clearly been machine translated from Chinese and so leave a bit to be desired, but they are clear enough to follow nonetheless.
