Yes. I am very happy with the quality and performance of these clippers. I use a gaurd and trim the sides of my hair once a week. With put the gaurd I trim. So far these a a perfect clipper!

Is there a way to purchase longer guards? I love the clippers but need longer guards to accommodate a longer hairstyle!

Yes. I bought this trimmer and use the Yinke premium guards from Amazon. The set I got was #10 (1.25”) thru #20 (2.5”), which will accommodate longer hair lengths. The standard guards with this trimmer stops at #8 (1.0”). The Yinke guards are on Amazon now.

Is there any way I could buy longer guards?

You can buy the Yinke premium guards on Amazon now. I bought this Ovlux trimmer and use the Yinke premium guards which are #10 (1.25”) thru #20 (2.5”). They fit perfectly and work great. Also, any blades or guards that fit Wahl will fit the Ovlux trimmer.
