Best knife I have ever used for cutting sandwiches cleanly.
I was slightly sceptical when I bought this, but I am so glad that I did. I guess the combination of sharp edge, non-stick coating and the width of the blade all seem to combine allow it to cut sandwiches cleanly and without squashing or dragging the contents out. I am VERY pleased that the edge protector is provided. 60+ years ago my grandparents and parents always made cardboard blade protectors to protect the edge of their sharpest knives when stored in a drawer with other cutlery. The plastic handle does have a slightly cheap feel, but it is comfortable and if it keeps the overall cost of the knife down, I am happy. This is a great knife for an excellent price.

Endlich zum Schneiden meiner Sandwiches,Toasts, Brot und Kuchen - und sogar für Fleisch! - tolles Messer " gefunden".Auch die vordere Kante für die kalte Butter ist sehr gut.Bin BISLANG erfreut und echt zufrieden nach einigen vorher bestellten nicht erfolgreichen Ergebnissen! It is sharp, so do use the protective cover when storing the knife in your utensil drawer. The knife shipped quickly, in new condition, and undamaged.
