Thin and clear...Amazon, please fix your description!!!
This product is very thin, not extra thick! It has the approximate consistency of maple syrup and is the thinnest Gesso I have ever seen. It was not what I expected but hopefully I can make it work. Also, be aware that this is clear, not white! It is in the description that it can be used as a clear coat, so was my fault for not noticing.

NOT EXTRA THICK
This is not extra thick gesso as the title suggests. It's the same Sargent's gesso you can buy a gallon of it on Amazon for a few dollars more.

Clear Gesso. Not!!!
I ordered clear gesso they described it as clear gesso however it’s dried white. Covered my numbers on my canvas. Will not order this again.

Thin consistency
Its good if you are looking for a very thinGesso, 5 coats gave me the results of one coat from a more expensive one, so might have saved money but not my time

Very runny. Need lots and lots of coats
Very thin. Applied 6 layers and still can see wood. The plate and brush I used were still very wet the next day. It doesn’t dry like it should. Disappointed
