Bird Feeder Anti-Bacterial Bird Feeder

If you have managed to stop squirrels from getting on your bird feeder, then this one will probably work just fine. Squirrels broke both perches (made of plastic) off of mine within the first few hours it was up, and then started chewing through the feed tube. The customer service for this product is excellent. They immediately shipped me another bird feeder, free of charge. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to one of the perches before I took it down and re-evaluated my squirrel situation (for the millionth time). In the end, I wound up using Sugru to affix two long metal screws to act as perches where the others had broken off. I hung it up with a smart water bottle resting on top (bottle bottom cut off), and then a cheap, flimsy 18-inch plastic plant saucer from Lowe's on top of that. It appears that I have finally foiled the squirrels, and the new perches are holding strong.

This is a nice little bird feeder. The only problem is that the top where you pour in the birdseed comes off very easily and any large bird or squirrel can get the top off pretty quickly and dump the seed out. I realize it's not marketed as squirrel-proof but it is more flimsy than any I've used before. Otherwise it's a nice little feeder and easy to clean. I'm still using it. I used some heavy tape but they'll chew through that also if so inclined. Whatever got into it was determined enough to break a limb off my tree while working on it.

I'm not the bird lover in my family... It's my wife that purchased this. I'll say this much, however... Since hanging this product in our backyard, the birds have swarmed to it. Clearly they have easy access to the birdfeed. It's light enough to hang off a shepard's hook, and is small enough to not be an eyesore. My wife is loving the views. Our cat is now plastered to the back window, so he's not under my feet all day. Therefore, I'm finding tremendous benefit from the feeder as well. Win-win!

purchased to replace a feeder that seemed to always get damp, moldy seed in our backyard. Our talented squirrels seem to have discovered it and a method of climbing the hanger then hanging upside down to have an afternoon treat. I think I will need a squirrel dome to keep the seed for the birds.

This is a very nice feeder. I wanted a feeder that was medium-sized and this is perfect. It has two feeding ports which I like, i found that birds don't pile up on the ones with many ports anyways and as the seed gets low you'd have empty ports. This way I can get it almost empty before I have to refill. It's sturdier than some of the less expensive flimsy plastic ones which I used to buy.

Don't expect a large bird feeder if that's what you're looking for, but exactly what I needed for my little wild birds. Has little sitting props that the big birds cannot sit on. Took a while for the birdies to discover it, which is really not unusual for wild birds, but they finally get it. Well constructed and should last for a long time.

Not as heavy as I expect it to be. It's mostly plastic. Hopefully it will hold up. Our feeder with a heavy metal top keeps coming apart (I think the squirrels do it) and the bold gets lost in the snow. This doesn't have that type of top, so it should be easier to deal with in the cold weather.

We haven't put up the bird feeder yet because I'm giving it to my husband for Christmas. However, we received it on time and in excellent condition. It's exacty what we have been looking for, and I can't wait until we can put it up!
