Art2-D2's Guide to Folding and Doodling (An Origami Yoda Activity Book)

my son loves this whole book series! he was not really in to Star Wars before. we found one of these books at a yard sale and , BOOM! instant obsession. he has since seen every Star Wars movie. he reads every one of these books COVER TO COVER at least twice! we have origami SW characters all over our house. as they say, "you can't swing a cat without hitting" one. Han Foldo, Art 2 D2, Darth Paper... the gangs all here! I am so thankful to the genius author of these books! You have renewed my sons love of reading. We are getting the books that we don't have for Christmas. I hope that there will e a future book for BB8, his favorite character. I would HIGHLY recommend these books to any parent who has a young boy. They both get to practice reading (an important thing) AND learn origami, the ancient Japanese art of paper folding. i have found these books these books to not only be entertaining for my son, but educational and enriching. bravo!

My son loves these books - and this one has extra paper & activities!

My ten year old loved this in his Easter basket this year!

My Aspie boy loves, loves, loves Star Wars, reading and origami. He has every book in the "Origami Yoda" series: both physical versions and Kindle versions. He enjoys the stories and the origami is a wonderfully, sneaky way to strengthen his fine motor skills. Bonus: Tom Angleberger, the author, is also an Aspie - and a kind man, to boot. He commented on an Instagram picture of my boy with his Origami Yoda creations, causing much squealing, hand-flapping hero-worshiping joy.

Perfect gift for a teen boy with a lot of time on his hands... After receiving the book, I skimmed through it before donating it to the Seattle Children's hospital. It seems to be a fun and entertaining gift to help occupy bored hands and a busy mind.

Excellent book that inspires artistic practice. My 9 year old son spent hours reading this, trying out the activities and it even inspired him to make characters of his own. We have boxes full of origami characters, and he prefers to play with them rather than his store-bought toys. And, of course, like all Tom Angleberger's books, it's a blast to read. His characters all a little nutty, yet totally relatable.

A billion fun things to do in here. Great for star wars lovers and book lovers.

We got this book yesterday. By dinner time, the kids had already made a ton of origami finger puppets. **I uploaded a photo of some of their folding to Customer Images. CHeck them out! ** I have regular kids, no extraordinary talents or abilities, and this book gets them going. You may want to buy multiples, so more than 1 kid can get busy at the same time!

interessante e appassionante

Very cool book! I totally recommend it for kids and adults all over the world! My kids have spent hours with this book.

I purchased this for my 7 year old sons birthday. He enjoys art, origami was a new thing so it was fun for him to do the step by steps to get a character from star wars. There are loads of little bits about how to draw characters, various characters as origami, and little activities in the book, all of it focusing around arts and crafts. I wouldn't say this is ideal for an older star wars fan (unless its for a collector who collects anything and everything related to it). This was ideal for our 7 year old. His favourite parts of the books were the lessons on how to draw the characters, up until now anything he draws is circles and lines primarily. Its helped him better understand art skills and drawing processes. I would recommend for a young star wars fan. I feel it is well worth the price.

Really great book with even greater content. Kids love it and want all of the books in the series.
